I would be happy to, but not for transfers.

If they wanted to send it all toward the SBITC or towards provision of tickets for disadvantaged people etc.

We are going to have enough money for transfers, but particularly at the minute, a bit of social good with the money would go a long way.

Wait until they release ST prices first! Give up your free one and then Doug goes 'btw, your season ticket will be a grand this season"

Where has this come from ? A reliable source or more dross from social media. In defo not giving up mine if the get promoted, I'm surprised it's only 5000 people tbh for an extra £50 a season for me. Just hope they dont fuck it up now the pressure is on 🤣

If we got promoted.

Would you be willing to give up your free premier league season ticket for a small gesture of will voucher ?

For DK to invest more for warchest in premier league.

5000 x £500.
Is £2.5m. Upfront.

Im sure those 2.5k who bought a season ticket during covid probably would?

You can tell we haven’t been in the Premier League for a while…

Yeah my seats were 480 first year so was a no brainer, haven’t looked at the prices since then as I’m locked in at 500, have they gone up even more?
I sit in the middle too, I do believe the non-PLP price was £480 in 23-24, frozen in 24-25 and then would have been £540 this season. So while we've paid £1500 so far, the non-PLP season tickets in the middle have been... £1500.

No brainer as you say!!

Disagree. I've not got one btw so no skin in this, but many of those that committed are probably loyal away travelers who will not be able to to get in the first bracket for first season away games in the Premier League and lots of new grounds so that Jonny come lately can go on tour instead. Doesn't seem right to me.
Me thinks the guy was causing mischief by suggesting no additional loyalty points.

i think it's bullshit.
how can people who have signed up for the prem package then not get loyalty points? it's ridiculous.
it's not like the points cost the club anything.

Absolutely not.

I gave up my refund during the COVID year to help when the club really needed it, and put my hand in my pocket for an extra £100 a year to help out then as well.

When we are PL, an extra 2.5 mill will make no difference.

AND I expect full loyalty points as well. Anything else would be a scandal.

(The guy who posted about "hearing" no loyalty points has gone quiet, so I suspect he was making it up)

I’ll be keeping mine. I don’t sit in the middle of the east stand so it was more of extra sum to pay. When I got it, I honestly thought the best chance of going up was a play off win and that’s an absolute lottery as we’ve painfully discovered. With the parachute and monied teams, I never imagined we’d have a season like this one. If we do it, I will be enjoying my reward.

Were points even a thing at the start?

Why should people get supporter points in exchange for getting something from the club for free? The points should be reserved for those who are actually paying for their tickets and supporting the club financially, people like the American guy and the Argentinian kid.

Erm…Not free as you well know. Some have paid an additional £50 per season. The Premier Card wasn’t thought through before its launch.

I gather you dont have premier league package. Its not a free season ticket. We made promise to support club and thus be rewarded for our loyal support.

Theres no way we woukd get penalised with no points for premier league package ticket.

If you're tying points to money spent then surely those that have the PLP should have had bonus points the last few years and kids & pensioners should get less points as their tickets are cheaper.

Premier League Package holders are being rewarded for their investment by getting an extraordinarily good deal on a Premier League season ticket. Why should they get extra rewards over the hordes of Johnny Come Latelies who want to put proper money into the club so they can cheer for Haaland and Salah next season?
