Please forgive me if this has already been discussed (I’m lazy and don’t have the time to go back through the thread), but yesterday BTA posted this, and I cannot figure out the name on the shirt.

It cannot be Asante, as there is no diagonal line in the letter after what appears to be an A, and the letter after the two vertical lines is possibly an E. So I was thinking of something like _EALLE_ Or maybe the two vertical lines form part of a U? _EAU_

Sorry again

Those slight tactical changes we made 2nd half against Leicester, that was all it took and we looked much better. I can't fathom why we didn't stick with that.
Those players have played brilliantly in some games and we know they are good and capable. I'm hoping that the addition of Onyeka will mean we don't have to drop anyone on the left in particular. If we are going to insist on playing that way though, perhaps it is worth giving KKH a try, as i can't see Lampard dropping Kitching.
What's your thoughts on it? Keep it as it is and see if Onyeka helps matters or change it up?

on the basis we have a home game against what should be ‘weaker’ opposition in comparison, I’d keep it as is and drop Onyeka in alongside Grimes, with Torp probably (or Rudoni or Eccles) at 10, giving Grimes a bit more freedom and less dropping in and covering

I’m also not against starting KKH on the left, but I’m not convinced he has the same attacking threat on that side as JDS, although he is pacier, better engine etc

what I’d change, subject to what then happens at home, is maybe drop an extra centre half in when we play away at the expense of either a midfielder or a winger, so play Simms and Wright up top or a front three and Grimes + Frank in the centre

So we are one over...
My guess is mutual agreement with Bidwell to cancel contract or Dovin to be deregistered.

Yes! My ideal team for Oxford would have Torp in the 10. I think it would give us that little bit more control in the midfield area as i don't think he would drift as much as Rudoni. I just want us to shore things up and get back to winning ways. Burnley for example, weren't always pleasant on the eye last season, but they did what they needed to and that's what i feel we requrie in the next couple of games to regain confidence if anything.

Tough one on the left isn't it. Not opposed to it for those reasons and don't want to throw any players under the bus, but it's a problem that needs addressing.

Completely agree on the change of formation for away, again do what we need to do. I don't care if it's not fancy football, i just want to see us go up.

I saw that Leicester were still expecting to confirm 3 signings, paperwork signed and no issue their side but waiting for EFl to clear backlog. Potentially if this mystery CB is a goer we could be waiting til tomorrow.

Like Torp in the 10. Also makes the most of his shooting ability.

Additionally and might be alone, want to see Woolf in place of Kitching

If Middlesbrough, Ipswich or Hull had signed the players that we have this window there would be even more full blown panic on this forum. Don’t think Lampard can claim he hasn’t been backed with a straight face from here.

Nonsense. He's going through a sticky patch, but has been excellent since the end of last season. He has the best first touch in The League.
A 3 year sticky patch. He hasn’t been excellent he’s been awful. Always out of position, a liability in the tackle, no pace, no good in the air, can’t read the line. Oh, but he does receive and make those 5 yards passes well.

You said you'd send him back. After two weeks. Where hes featured in 3 out of 4 games.

I simply said you're management skills need improvement if you convince a prem club to end his loan, to bring him here, to then send him back after two weeks.

That is all.

What is it with people being unable to follow forums on here? I said in a reply worried about us running out of loan slots that we could send Yang back, because with Markelo he’s further down the pecking order so if we needed another slot there’s your answer.

That is all. Now fuck off and learn to read.
