1 game at a time. Oxford. Must win
I never usually say that, but it is.

It's all well and fine to say Middlesbrough is the big one, but wins breed confidence and we need a bit of confidence right now.

A draw would still leave us looking rather abject and a defeat would be 3 defeats in a row, 2 of which would have been against relegation threatened sides.

That's hardly going to instill any belief at all into the game against Boro is it.

I do think we need to go into that game with a win against Oxford under our belts.

im a positive person, and always will be - we need to batter oxford, all key players to get goals, and good assists, i dont want a scrappy win, i want a pre-christmas style win again, need it to built into the boro game

Lol mate. We look horrendous in every department. Not sure where the magic turn around will happen.

Confidence is shot.

Agreed but I’d take a scrappy win. We need it

Take an early lead v Oxford, miss a load of chances, not get a stick on penalty, they equalise on 75 mins.
Last 15 crowd gets agitated, full time boos and this forum melts down to levels not yet seen.

Why can’t I have a moan Tom?!

I had a massive head loss yesterday, feeling slightly more positive today but maybe not as positive as you are!
You can obviously do as you like.

We’re shit away from home and it needs sorting.

I do think we’re all just panicking though.

It’ll almost certainly, probably be alright.

Expect the same reaction after we lost to brum, 2 home wins, we’re beating Oxford then mboro could go either way, they look very good, which will give us a huge boost when we beat them,

We could well win the upcoming home games and I wouldn’t be surprised - but I have zero faith in us going to The Hawthorns and Bramall Lane in the games that follow and getting a minimum of 4 points

Oxford haven't had a penalty in about two and a half millennia.

No doubt that is how they'll get their equaliser...

I wouldn’t be shocked if we fail to win another away game all season. Performances have been that bad.

Next two are must win now.
I say one must win, one must not lose. Doesn't matter too much which, though probably would be better to beat Boro admittedly and drawing at home to Oxford which would probably see us lose top spot wouldn't be great preparation.

Look at the table. Another 10/11 game run like this we wont make play offs! On current form it looks dicy.

We look shocking in every department of the game. Progressively getting worse.
No way we'll fail to make the play offs (unless we go up via the top 2)

As long as win both home games, then anything away from those 2 away games is ok - Baggies obviously easier than the Blades. Boro' go to Sheff Utd a week on Monday - that won't be easy by any stretch. Our home form is key, but we'll need 2 or 3 away wins at least imo,, to have a chance of autos.

Asante back for the West Brom game, off the bench to get the winner, as bad as we are away we will win a few, and just keep doing what we’ve been doing at home, one Result could turn our away form around hopefully West Brom,

We've taken the lead twice in the last two away games. Yes we threw it awa in one and weren't good enough in the second, but really, we could easily have gone 2-0 up in both and held on. Our away form will be fine over the season, we'll get results in the remaining games, but we can't blow the home games. We need WW or WD minimum I feel now.
