Why the fuck is jds bombing on and leaving that massive space when we are winning? It's stupidity.

That goal was not down to JDS…. Kitch made 2 errors … a poor header followed by following the ball in field and allowing a huge gap at the back.

Since December

Preston away - lost 2 points, 1 up against 10 men
Southampton away - lost 2 points, 1 up before Dasilva red
Charlton Away - lost 2 points, 1 up before Brau fucked it
Norwich away - lost 3 points 1 up before braindead defending
QPR away - lost 3 points, 1 up with 25 minutes to go

5 of the last 6 away we have pissed away 11 points from winning positions

Mentally piss weak
Lampard needs to earn his money, change tactics and get the players heads up and show some bloody pride because that’s the least we expect

We got into this position because for four months teams were so scared of conceding to us they shut up shop. I think teams have realised that if they give it a go now, our defence will fold. The frustration is that it’s the same defence we’ve known is shaky for a couple of seasons now and have done relatively nothing to fix it.
We have we brought in Woolfenden and Kkh.... hmmm thinking about it your right

You're right. But if you play your full backs deeper you have more contingency for when one of the now frequent errors happens.

To lose 12 points from winning positions in 7 away games is criminal.

I do feel like I'm in a simulation right now which someone has programmed for my football club to always fuck it. Feels like its never us... Luton Town, come on, fuck off. Then Dan Ballard and now those cunts are having a great time in the top flight. Throw in the Man Utd 'Offside' (it wasn't.)

Now we have this. Any other team in that position would just crack on and get promoted with very little fuss but our players, or maliciously programmed computer sprites, are busy defecating all over the football pitch. It's all clear now, the only thing I'm not sure of is if you lot are also in it or are simply a part of it. Tom is a real name but some of your names are fucking stupid.

One thing for sure if we don't make it this year will difficult to ever be confident of anything again. 2042, 25 pts ahead at Xmas. "We can't fuck this up you bedwettter" Me "but 2026"
Can imagine us being top and not selling out the ground because the casuals won't have the confidence we won't screw it up again.

I don't think I'll ever believe we can't screw something up again 😂

Why can't we get back to being bang average all season, scraping the play offs, fucking it up, realising top 6 is decent compared to losing to Forest Green then getting on with the next season

If that’s all you want your club to do then fine, I want to see it play at the highest possible level.

I reckon one of the SBA went on holiday to Leverkusen in 2023 and brought back a strange glowing stone with them...

His interview before this game, came across as a man under pressure.

Probably as mystified as us as to how this team can be turning out such poor performances given whats happened previously. Nevertheless as manager buck stops at him

He has had plenty of chances to change the formation, particularly away from home. 5 at the back and try and pick up a point here and there, but he hasn't, very fixed in his system.

He needs to change quickly while we are still in it, be surprised if Doug changes manager

I think that Watford game was the turning point, they should have been a couple of goals ahead before we took the lead. Even with us being a few goals up & down to 10 men they still caused us issues in that 2nd half

2 seasons ago when Leicester won the league they had a horrible run and some fans were calling for the managers head …. They got through the bad spell and won the league …. It’s not that unusual
I agree but FFS it should have turned by now! 1/3 season its been going on!

Can someone tell me when Kitchen and JDS running back to defend Kitchen heads into the 6 yard box away from the attacking player and JDS does the same? The player with the ball is under no pressure whatsoever and can cross at will. If thats what they are taught in training God help us

Surely it's "how our fullbacks are asked by the manager to play" that's the problem. We have wingers. We don't need wingbacks as well

Although I don’t think MVE has been great this season he can recover pretty. Dasilva just isn’t good enough. In a static back four he’d still not be good enough as any wide player with pace and power would destroy him. He needs moving on even if we are in the championship next season.

We had earned the right to a blip/poor run, Frank was right to point out in his presser last week that mirroring what we did before the halfway point would have earned us the most points ever accumulated in a professional English Football season and it was not realistic

The players had built up such a lead that they had actually brought themselves some leeway and the opportunity to lose the odd few games, what worries me is they have pissed that lead away in the space of a month and our margin for error is now minimal at a time we are in a complete rut away from home

A drop to 1.5 PPG would have been disappointing but fair enough. A drop to what is close to relegation form however is something else.
