He can't come out and say the players are bottle jobs.

I get what he's trying to do. He's probably giving the players a bit of a roasting in the dressing room, but is trying to stay upbeat for the cameras and supporters.

He can absolutely come out and criticise the players when they deserve it.

Seems we’ve been found out, tactically. Hence the regression in flowing, attacking football, and the emergence of defensive fragility/forwards isolated and not scoring.
The fatigue factor is minimal, imo.

He can and other managers do, but I don't believe that's the way FL works

From his perspective, I think he finds it counterproductive
