It’s a shit game so far, but we have a quality bench to use in the second half. QPR can’t say the same. Expecting at least Esse and Hadji to come on at 6ind and poss Torp too.

We can only bring Esse on once. New EFL rule I think about not cloning players.

We’ve tightened up the middle but committing the full backs so far forward still - so absolutely acres of space down the flanks on the transition.

Is Kone good or are we making him look good?
He looked like an outstanding buy at the price when he was available, and I was disappointed we didn't seem to pursue it. Strength and (at least at this level) technically better than most centre forwards.

I know people will call it bedwetting and negative etc, but if we continue to play like this, then we will not be going up top 2. This has dropping into the play offs and losing in the semis with no confidence written all over it. This is so so poor from a team top of the league.

Grimes naturally slows the plays, the useless left back just passes it backwards every time, recruitment has been a disaster bringing in players we don’t need and not filling the places we do

It’s another performance to ask questions unfortunately, as we haven’t been fluid , or made any chances .
Esse’s flicks are driving me mad & Lampard please tell him to just do the basics & not lose the ball !

Its not like the players have forgotten how to play football. Its the same team that have us at the top. We just seem a bit flat and need something ignite a spark. I still think we will nick this

Such a laboured performance yet again. For quite some time now it’s like the whole team is so tired, lacking any motivation, ideas and a cutting edge. The pressure of being top of the league appears to be weighing so heavily on the team. Why can’t they just enjoy themselves and play with freedom and fluidity like they did before?

I get wanting to play direct but it's direct yet directionless so far, what are we trying to do? Why in their half is everybody so far apart?
It's glaringly obvious to the eye isn't it

Send the ball up to Simms, who is showing no control and there is no-one to link up with him.

At the moment, I would be thrilled with a point.

I think it might’ve been.
At first thought he just ran into grimes but grimes does look like he moves into him.
Either way it’s close and have definitely seen them given.
It was a pen. Nick just doesn’t like admitting the ref isn’t against us

Absolute fucking shite. Same half of football we’ve had away from home for months. Luckily QPR are so shit they can’t take advantage.

We’ve already bottled it. Mentally fucked and no ideas. Our best chance in a generation is wasted.
You do know it's still the same gap to 3rd as before kickoff?
Preston have forgotten their crap form, have turned up at Portman Road and are giving Ipswich a game so far.

Ffs 1 great save and other than that they’ve done fuck all , we are a better team than them

Unfortunately, we really aren’t at the moment.

We’re devoid of confidence again today so far. Simms is on an island and although we’ve seen glimpses of decent build up play, we were pretty toothless in the 1st half. As has already been mentioned, Frank needs to sort them out, both tactically and psychologically.
