Working with a Boro fan this morning saying how Hellberg has completely changed their style of play. He said Carrick was dogmatic with his way of playing and wouldn't change regardless of circumstances why they were always being caught out. Sounds familiar?
And now Carrick is managing a team 4th in the PL.

Literally still at 2 points a game. Honestly, half of this forum become like toddler having a temper tantrum when we lose a game. We're 3 points above Boro and 8 ahead of Ipswich, talk of impending bottling is premature and frankly,

After QPR, we have Oxford and Boro and even if we lose on Saturday, we'll still be stop and winning both home games keeps us top by 3 points minimum.
Fook knows how a lot on here actually cope with real problems.

Genuinely. I was proper fuming watching us piss the points away again but the endless repetition is mind numbing, then of course you have the posters who endlessly post how worried they are as if they are about to be sent to war or something. It's a bit weird honestly.

I'm kind of cathartic around all this now.

The season hinges on whether Lampard can work out our midfield shortcomings, and whether Doug can provide what he needs.

We will see.
Best to just accept what will be, will be.

From the joy of leading at halftime to despair within a minute of the second half....

I’m not having this. We may well miss out on autos, but I’m not having you putting in less than 100% trolling effort. Unacceptable.

Bling needs to get his wallet out.

Last night be a blessing in that it might be a wake up call to King. Let’s hope it’s not too late at this point.
I'm not convinced Lampard is happy with the squad as some suggest.

Yes we have signed loans, but I really do have an inclination that DK is trying to get us promoted for as cheap as possible.

I doubt he’s happy either and he is probably pissed off. King deciding to block the Bamford signing probably hasn’t helped either.

We're top of the league now finally own our stadium and people are moaning about the owner

Nothing is ever good enough become a bunch of spoilt melts
People are asking for him to sign 1 CM to solidify our status at the top and get promoted to change the fortunes of our club forever.

Not much in the grand scheme of things.

Like what?
Lampard out and that king is a terrible owner who won't invest in the team when he clearly has.

The change in infrastructure compared to a few years ago for example is huge. You can't just spend loads of money it won't work long term and we'll end up in a terrible situation like before

Spending on the infrastructure such as the stadium is slightly different to investing in the playing squad.

I'm only teasing, but 'Sign Frank Onyeka and change the history of the club forever!!' is undeniably a very funny line
Not what I said at all, but what do I expect from the Basildon Gazettes' best journalist

Spending a few million on a midfielder is not going to disrupt the balance
But we're linked to loads of midfielders something is obviously happening. We can't complete with wages of parachute teams and clubs like Birmingham it's not worth selling the club down the river when what we have been doing is obviously working.
