That’s what I said before the game, we win that comfortably if they all turn up and match them, Lampard knows too many went missing that’s why he’s fuming, if you put a video together of all the goals we’ve conceded you’d think you’re watching a Sunday league team
Put together a video of the ganes Rushworth has kept us in. We shoukd be midtabke with this formation.

Whats wrong with controlling games and being less open and matching midfields and providing to cover to your defence.

Not sure I do to be honest! Seems like even the opinions in the last page of this thread have wildly different views.
A 4-2-4 with the 2 comprising an overwhelmed Grimes and a Torp gasping for air

6 points from the last 3 games isn’t the end of the world. We do need to go and win at QPR now though.
Depends on what the teams around us are doing....

The gap is closing. Few weeks ago people were laughing at the thought of us losing games and others winning.

Lol im looking forward to Lmapard playing vs boro.

Just Grimes...trying to boss Morris, Browne and hackney..with 4 attackers and Torp not tracking back.

Lol will be suicide.

Plenty of twists and turns yet. Individual errors cost us tonight but still think we’ve got a second wind in us….hopefully sooner rather than later

With respect I think you’re looking in the wrong place. No one can look competent as a CH in our system. You’re completely exposed to the side and in front. We need legs in the midfield and we need to tell our full backs to play in our half now and again.

Course they can if you’ve got the right ones, instead we’ve got cart horses who can’t run or pass a ball, if they did the basics tonight we win that, it’s that simple, just silly mistakes again,

Yep, win at QPR we've taken 9 from 4 which is still a good outcome. We had a better xG and could easily have been 2:1 up when we gave away a goal. Could easily have taken a point. QPR won't be happy after the last result but why shouldn't it all come together again at our new favourite oppo?

Looking forward to the entitled posters to calm down and the old school Cov fans suck up the result and move on. FFS a 2-1 loss away at Norwich is standard lads.
Indeed but expectation is a bastard !
After the maelstrom of goal gluts earlier on, everyone expects us to continue to be above that standard 😄

We’ve already established you think the only way to change a team’s form is to simply buy new players until results improve. And that’s ok. You may even get your wish!
Hopefully. Following your plan clearly wont work.

With respect, if those are the tactics we’re going to play then no, it doesn’t sound like a new CM is going to help much?
Exactly that, doesn’t make sense that we’ve got quick wingbacks who are always going to get caught out of position and were left with centre halves that run like they’ve got diving boots on, watch all the goals we’ve conceded and put the benny hill music over it, fits perfect, oh well we weren’t doing it the easy way

Coventry manager Frank Lampard told BBC Radio CWR:

"We gifted them their goals. If you do that in the Championship you lose games. If you defend sloppily and make mistakes, teams score against you.

"We created enough chances to score more goals but didn't. Defensive errors are a problem, something we've been good at this season.

"It was a great finish, good goal, and we went in at half time 1-0, so that's positive, but we came out [in the second half] and gave them some momentum.

"Some games aren't easy to control in the Championship. We had more possession than them, and created enough chances, but games are always won in both boxes.

"It's not easy to come here on a Monday night against a team in good form and try to control every aspect of the game."

How did we go from so many unbeaten and clean sheets to basically self destructing each game
