All of a sudden, the next 6 don't look very nice..
QPR
Middlesbrough
Oxford
WBA
Sheffield United
Stoke....
Nah, always pretty confident for the home games,

Hopefully they have learn a valuable lesson tonight and we don't play that way away from home again. If so we should beat QPR. Baggies are shite so we really should confident there. Only Sheffield United away i'd be worried about,

So what would you do with those players to change it, bearing in mind we’ve got defenders who can’t defend, we just have to out score teams, if we don’t take our chances that’s what happens, won’t be the last game we lose playing like that
Our defenders can defend (yes, I know that sounds a hollow statement after watching that), but they are constantly exposed by forwards charging at them because we play so open. Every, and I mean every, defender is going to look ropey against that type of exposure.

The issue isn't the personnel, it's the system.

Still don’t think we need any more in midfield @SBT?
Didn’t watch tonight - is it the kind of game where a different midfield player makes all the difference, or a tactical fuck-up from Frank? (Or both…)

If the wheels are well and truly off then of course I can see the case for bringing in the right player, but the immediate aftermath of a defeat is rarely the best time to judge that

A team can't be set up leaving acres of space in the centre of the pitch and not concede chances. It's all well and good having a high press but once that was breached tonight we were left with 5 players at the top of the pitch. Only MVE can be absolved from the terrible defending which then exacerbates the problem. Lampard needs to show more pragmatism in away games. It's almost like schoolboy football at times with all bar a rush goalie .

IF we ended up in the PO's we're not winning them. Not getting promoted from the position we were in this team will be destroyed mentally.
The fan base will be destroyed mentally also, if we blow it Doug will be lucky to see 20,000 up there next season, particularly if we don't add anyone else this window, things can turn very quickly in football.

I suspect you know my answer to that question.

I think we should just let the players we have do it.

Neither of the goals came from that though. They both came from our CBs being fucking awful.

I don't understand why Torp looked so laboured, given he hasn't been playing the minutes that others have. This was a game that needed a Jamie Allen energy injection.

Can’t believe posters aren’t picking out Da Silva. He was all over the show, leaves huge gaps when he fecks off up front and loses the ball.
The chaotic nature of our tactics once favoured us but it’s now favouring the opposition.

So many players off the boil though
Emc Torp and grimes were awful first half
After we scored we were great for 5 mins and after they equalised it was all us but we then messed up fiddling with the ball

That’s what I said before the game, we win that comfortably if they all turn up and match them, Lampard knows too many went missing that’s why he’s fuming, if you put a video together of all the goals we’ve conceded you’d think you’re watching a Sunday league team

With respect I think you’re looking in the wrong place. No one can look competent as a CH in our system. You’re completely exposed to the side and in front. We need legs in the midfield and we need to tell our full backs to play in our half now and again.
