Best 30 mins from wright for a long time though. Was immense with his physicality, pressing etc. They just couldn’t handle him

Don’t underestimate his goal today. Right place, holds the defender off and prevents him from clearing it, then curls it in with the back of his calf. Superb.

Quite simply we are not where we are in the league without his goals this season. Deserves an enormous amount of credit for playing his way back into the team.
Couldn’t poach a fucking egg on here according to some but the lad scores goals at this level it’s as simple as that.
Ayew to be fair to him has started to play much better as seasons gone on...world cup on the horizon.

Simms 10 goals in 9 starts. Thats a better record than anyone else in this league. Top striker who just needs to played consistently by Lmpard.
