Update/Casualty report?

It provoked three separate conversations:

The first was actually a Villa fan! But his son in law was Coventry.

The second (which was one of those awkward while having a wee at the urinal chats) was with a Cov fan who coincidentally has a ST in the block next to me.

The third was with a Leicester fan who thinks they’re going to get absolutely battered today. Doesn’t like the manager, they all dislike Winks too and think Monga is their only hope!

Trouble already somewhere close. 2 riot vans and a drone unit all gone bombing out of the ground blaring.

Literally no idea about today but need a statement performance that proves to everyone we are still good enough

They’ve just walked them through broad gate where the cov shirt give away was, clever, desperate for their nearest Wetherspoons no doubt, singing “ where were you when you were shit “ to a load of shoppers, bright bunch

Was in town inbred fans walked through with police , they went into flying standard for a drink, police cars and riot van turned up also 2 coppers with dogs, think something happened in flying standard and seen one inbred pinned to the ground and arrested, gone 9am and already getting nicked

Walk passed them, Jesus they’re a feral lot, think the cutlery in the standard confused them

Decided to get the train down today. 5.25am start, changing at Sheffield and Brum. Now at Cov station waiting for train to the ground.

Wish I’d driven.

Anyway, I can have a few beers now and enjoy a 2-0 victory!
Fair play

gimme this today:

Rushworth
MVE - Bobby - Kitch - JDS
Grimes - Torp
Esse - Rudi - EMC
Simms

Bench:
Wilson
Woolfy
Lati
Allen
Eccles
Tats
Minny
Wright
BTA

That looks about right to me, with Wolfendon in for the suspended Thomas.

If Rudi can rediscover his form then I really like the look of our attacking midfielders and it will be good to have Torp back.

This is a very important game, make no mistake about it.

Win and that gap gets to take another breath, lose and we get pulled in. After the lead we had, that would be a travesty.

I think we have enough to beat them, but our mentality needs to be right. Hopefully the combination of the cup break and players returning we see us perform as well as we know we can.

It’s clear Wright is Franks first choice striker, but Simms absolutely has to start today.

Both stats and confidence wise, he should be our first choice right now.

One of their inbreds got arrested when we were in the bookies. Police are on it but it adds to the atmosphere.

They must be getting them a bus, actually, make them walk

It’s a bit chilly , so they’re looking for a shop that sells 6 fingered gloves.
