All the elements that made us the best team in the league are still there. We've just been a bit stretched over the busy Christmas period.
plus players playing when clearly ill hasn't helped

all players are fit now and hopefully flu free

Bought out SISU, bought the ground, we're here at the top of the league, with Esse ( cost £13.5m) brought into the fold. Supposedly another player coming next week. Yet you want to have a go at the Chairman? P.S. If you think profit for takings in the shop are going to fund a 'statement signing', you're deluded. Anyway, let's win tomorrow, and all's well.
I’ve been Doug’s biggest fan. It’s more of a gamble not to get experience in as we might not be in the position again for a very long time.

Im not denying that but listening on here yoiu would think we wont win any of our last 20 games. People here cant handle pressure being top. Imagine it next season if we go up and lose every week. Suicide rates could reach an all time high.
I think people on here will be more than happy to lose every week if we go up. Most people just want to go up via autos, especially after having such a big lead over other teams and especially after how we've come up short in the playoffs a couple of times already.

yep but also people shouldn't go into a meltdown between now the end of the season if and when we drop points as we will but so will boro and ipswich
Can see us going on one of our runs again, we did exactly the same this time last season,we beat Bristol city on the 18th Jan after a dodgy spell then won the next 4, confident 6 points from the next 2

nah, if you speak to the fans of teams that went up and straight back down they say that it gets really shite, really quickly when you get beat every week

Most of the squad has been together in this league for two and a half years. Grimes has played more games at the right end of this league than some entire starting XIs that'll line up this wknd. We've got experience and a coach that knows how teams get over the line. Add a good CM and we're sound.

Well he doesn't technically know how to get teams over the line does he? He's never promoted a team

Didn't say he did. He's played in title winning teams. He knows what the dressing room should look and feel like. Hopefully he can maintain that here.

yes we need to win games to go up but after that i'm more confident boro will drop points against better teams
For a start they still have to travel to Ipswich when we will have the chance to gain on at least one if not both sides.

No but he only won the Premier League, champions league, fa cup, leauge cup and Europa League as a player. He only played under José Mourinho, Ancelotti, Conte and many other successful coaches.

Oh yeah his assistant also won the champions league as an Assistant Manager as well.

If folks can't handle some pressure when all they've got to do is be in the stands, just stay home 🤷🏻
Its hilarious - these people who thought we had the title wrapped up in November and then shit themselves when the gap closes a bit in January are often the same ones who's posts suggest they think running a football club is easy and they know far better than the coaching staff and executive management on every given decision

A little bit of sangfroid goes a long way as both Robins and Lampard have shown with their management approaches in the best years of this millennium
