Quite a lot actually… 5 goals betweeen Simms and BTA.
Simms has the same amount of headed goals as Keiffer Moore who some people seem to think would score a bagful of headers under us.

Fine , Fully aware of that, But I did pose the question of how many actual headed goals our current strikers have scored.
I think my point really is that I’d like to see another striker come in who we can feed through the middle like we did with Vik .

I think Keiffer Moore and Simms are tied for most headed goals. Simms was possibly also the top scorer in headers last season too - he was definitely up there.
Unless there’s a CB with 5 headed goals in the league somewhere, Moore and Simms are tied.

We have scored the most headed goals in the Championship. Crosses generally create panic and it's about the 2nd ball flick ons and I'd say we are the best at capitalising from these situations.

We normally play with 1 striker in the middle. We normally have lots of players waiting for a cross. We have several players that are good with their head. Our striker is outnumbered easily by our other players so I would expect them to score more headers than the striker.

Yeah you have people arriving late at the back post and that's where the goals tend to come from.

With Vik I thought we just hoofed it in his general direction and left him to out pace/out muscle the defenders.

I’m pretty sure 4 headers would have had Simms up there with the top ‘headed’ scorers last season. In this respect, the ‘eye test’ has failed a lot of people saying we need a striker to score headers. As you point out, Simms has played half the minutes as Moore and a few contributors said Moore would be ‘perfect’ for that role.
When you dig into the numbers, most teams won’t even score 10 headed goals in 46 games across the entire squad. So one player scoring 3-4 is quite a lot, this is clearly missed on a lot of people.
To be sung whenever he leaves a defender on their arse (or two-foots them!):

He must have scored a few but the only 1 I remember was one that he knew little about after it smacked him in the face and rebounded into the net. It might have been at Blackpool, but not absolutely sure.
