I know they are pie in the sky but if we are paying £5m for Manneh I'd be happy avoiding him for now and dumping the £5m on quality loans like George and Ferguson to get us over the line.

I wonder if all the noise about Manneh a few weeks ago about other clubs was an indication that his club and agent are fucking around again. In which case, we may have moved on.
Yeah for the first time in a long time the club needs to go short term focus rather than long. Don't care if we blow millions on expensive loans now.
I think Doug might be reluctant but hopefully he sees this as too big of an opportunity to pass up.
