I can quite easily see Ipswich winning 4 more games than us over the 2nd half of the season.

It is entirely possible that we won't beat Charlton or Birmingham, given our recent loss of form. I would expect Ipswich to beat Oxford and Portsmouth, in which case they only need to win two more than us over the remaining 20 games. I think they will do it easily.

I hope we strengthen well in January because I reckon we are going to be in a real scrap for second.

They have played 7 of the top 8 away from home too.

I think they'll win it. Boro too inconsistent.

Relatively tough run of games and they've beaten the league leaders twice in that run.

Their run until the end of January is favourable. The result tonight could be a springboard but who knows.
not really, they are inconsistent as fuck and need to go on the kind of run they haven't looked like doing if the want to catch us

if they do fair play but they haven't shown they can go on a run like that yet

Didn’t half cheer me up watching Kyogo on sky after our game.

Ballooned one over he should have buried then hit a half volley in the box out for a throw in 😂😂😂

Jan non cup aways

Charlton - Should win
Blues - we are better than
Norwich - They are better but we should be looking to end that shite run there
QPR - Very Winnable

We may not win them all but they are all games we have a good chance of winning

Don't feel we played the mood around the game really, and someone's got the spacings wrong,we just weren't confident in our positioning at all.

Our games against Leicester and Birmingham will be cup finals for both of them.

Not easy games.
they can be up for it but we are still better than blues and a disfunctional lesta

if you aren't confident of winnig them then the games not for you

I'm not too confident. I think we've dropped off.

We should beat them, both sides are very inconsistent but the nature of the games will be different. They will be bigger games for them than us as they may not have much else to play for this season.

we've come through a though spell with a team that is clearly still not 100% well and but for a rush of blood from jds we likely beat southampton

we've had a better december than lots thought

They will drift into play offs.
It's possible. Injuries are biting deeper now and it shows.

We always need quite a few shots per goal, but have no problem creating a bucketload of chances at least, our midfield is right up there. But whilst we're still usually bossing every game with more duals won, possession, and by far the better xG and shots, the fact that with Fry out again means we have no fit CBs at all and have to shoe fullbacks in there and play a bit more negatively as a result.

The amount of shots we're getting has dropped from around 30 to 20 and whilst this would still usually be enough to get a few goals to win a game, Strelec and McGree's injury means our best finishers are both out too which makes that even harder. There is still Whittaker, but with the others missing it's easier to anticipate from an opponent amd block etc.

Still it's the January window coming up and I imagine Gibson will probably throw the kitchen sink at it as we have the funds and are not used to chances this open coming along often. Two more in based mostly on finishing ability as well as link up play on the left and another CB or two will be foremost in our minds.

This will give us 6 or 7 decent CBs in the squad which is surely enough to prevent injuries scuppering us you would think.
Also 4 out and out strikers, though Conway is more of a Heskey type player, good at holding the ball up, laying it off and penalties (not that we get many of those!) but rubbish at shooting in open play.

It will mean when our crocks eventually return that we have a lot of decent players kicking their heels in the reserves, but thats their fault for being made of sodding weetabix!

They didn't exactly rip the league to shreds after beating you last time though. If they follow that recent pattern there's no reason they'll be such a shoe-in for the autos or even title as some are suggesting.

Every tram in this league is inconsistent, including Ipswich.
