Another thing about the Ballboys/girls, anyone noticed they are a lot older now. I think Frank's had a word, they give the ball back much quicker and I noticed the other night in front of me B22 that the ballboy left the ball for the Sheff Utd player to retrieve instead.
I remember a night game at Leicester a good few years ago when Micky Adams was their manager. We had scored first (Richie Partridge?) and then they had come back to lead two-one. Just after their second goal the ball boys, who had been instrumental in getting the ball back to the Leicester players really quickly, were all withdrawn. A small advantage, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a multi ball system then and City players would have been scrambling to get the one ball back in play.

Assume it's structurally fine? If so I'd just put wraps over it. This kind of thing

Would imagine that would be cheaper and you could change it every season or two to keep it fresh

Leeds have something like this on at least part of Elland Road. I was surprised at just how crap it looked. But perhaps that was just the ground/surrounding area in general.

Maybe it would be better if it were more professionally executed.

It looks absolutely shite.

Like something Wrexham would have on their village temporary stand.

I think some of it is beyond repair, lots of panels seem to have water and heat damage, a few panels have already been replaced. Makes sense to replace it, a once in 20 year job rather than having to revisit it every couple of years. That said, this sort of wrap might work around sections that are not clad at all.
