Any truth in the rumour linking us to Tyrique George of Chelsea? He’s not getting a sniff of Premier League game time at the minute, being used mainly in cup game, a decent winger, would be perfect for us.

We’ve been linked with him on loan and Leo Castledine on a perm. Get Piroe on loan and that will be a decent window.

I think we have to be careful. It's all well and good people mentioning good players that might be available, but we have a good TEAM.

It's clear the spirit in the camp and then with the fans is a major part of our success this season. I'm sure Frank and Doug will select a couple of players to help get us over the line, but what we absolutely can't do is upset what we already have- a championship winning team.

What’s the point in signing Piroe on loan? We already have one of the league’s best strikers, a backup who just won POTM and another backup soon to return from injury who also won POTM. We only play one up front btw.

Exactly, we have 3 options at CF
But no adequate cover on either wing, and no quality cover for JDS or Grimes.

It depends what George wants. He can almost certainly join bigger clubs but will he play regularly ?

If his priority is to play and grow as a player then we are a credible option.

We do indeed need more attacking options so do we a) Wait for the guy who was playing really well to come back from injury in a week or two or b) Throw money at Joel Piroe to play out of position every third week?

Where’s it been confirmed he’s back in a week or two? is that on grass or ready to play?

The initial 6-8 week diagnosis has him returning for Leicester at home. Lampard said he was still tracking at that.

Piroe talented but bit of a luxury player from what I can remember, even when he was scoring goals Leeds fans never rated him. I’d look elsewhere for what he’d cost.
