dont get it, top of the league own the ground and flying but that was awful today, it’s getting worse, I know it’s probably a bit nervous being in this position but we need to get behind them, something needs to change

Second half was miles better than any game this season for me.

Felt like the drummer and the corner kept at it rather than giving up.

Certainly not loud, but constant noise which is what we've missed.

We should be singing for 90 mins, we won’t get a season like this again

You have to acknowledge the change in circumstances, and accept that it’s not going to be absolutely rocking every week. We’ve gone from spanking teams about the place whilst playing with no real pressure to now playing cagey affairs against teams coming to the CBS to spoil all whilst we have an ever more real prospect of a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something truly incredible. That creates tension which naturally isn’t as electric as banging in 7 goals in the sunshine.

Look around, it’s all fucking brilliant. It’s just different.

It's one of many reasons to be honest. If Brau plays a bigger part, it will be a classic song. People around me today loved it.
We had 2 behind us today at their first game, leeds fans, they said WLADITT was the best theyve ever seen then just kept asking why it was so quiet, couldn’t really answer them ?

get what you mean but we should be enjoying every game, atmosphere is flat, even lampards Mentioned it

We are enjoying it. Its just the games themselves aren't generating it. We never look like we're not going to win.

The lack of atmosphere is tied in directly to fans not getting on the teams back when we're losing. We know they'll turn it around. Being 2-0 to WBA was a good example of this.

But every game should be a party, get the nerves but when you’ve got 500 Swansea fans singing “ football, in a library “ then you have to wonder. Shouldn’t be any part of a game when you can hear the players talking

Thing that gets me is that in these tight cagey affairs where every point becomes more important than the next, people are fucking off early

People streamed out on 90 minutes today, same against Bristol City. We are 1 nil up and needing all the support we can to help the team put in everything they can to hold on to crucial wins. Then you've got literally thousands leaving in their droves

I find our atmosphere embarrassing now tbh, we used to be the envy of the EFL for a while, now its pony

That sort of thing wouldn't happen if the away fans were by the corner or the those in the corner moved over.

We never respond to away fans taking the piss anymore.

It was a big part of why it was loud years ago during boring matches.

This.

Big issue.

It also looks fucking wank when we score a goal before half time and half the North Stand is empty.

It's always that stand.

We're in a funny position at the moment. The end of the season seems a long way off, and I don't think its sunk in to most of us just how well we've been doing.

As for "football in a library", the atmosphere today could've been the best ever in out history, and they still would've sung it. Its just what away fans do

Do agree with this. Bloke and his kid in front of me left on the 75th minute today. I really don't understand it

They weren’t wrong though, there Were times in the first half it was like a friendly, maybe it is is the expectation but it should be deafeaning for 90 mins,

The first half was a bit lethargic. Lampard said that was something he raised with the players at half time

With the road closures, unless you're parked miles away, are you likely to get anywhere much quicker?

Again, I compare to a few years ago and almost everyone stayed well after the final whistle. It's great seeing the first bumps, but most people have gone once Frank turns round towards the other end!

If we go up and the siege mentality doesn’t return, when we totally need it to, then I suppose I’ll be ultimately disappointed. About time the No-Noise-North Stand made a noise.

I’m pretty confident if you looked at “atmosphere/crowd volume” alongside temperature, you’d see a direct correlation between them.

same thread pops up every winter. When it’s baltic no one can be arsed.

Gloves don't make a noise when clapped

You mean they actually sung a song. You must have been closure to them than me. Worst away following I have seen for a long time. It’s actually easier to generate noise as the away team as you are all herded together and have the out numbered backs to the wall spirit. They were garbage.
