Good news is that Carlton Morris is now out for potentially the season with what looks like an ACL injury or at least several months with ligament damage

The only ‘good news’ about this is that I meant to have a bet on him to be top scorer at about 80/1 but forgot, so glad he now won’t be!

It's just strange how everyone is saying it's a shit league just because the parachute teams ain't occupying the top 3 and brum/Wrexham ain't steam rolling it, Norwich are shite and deserve to be there, losing every home game is criminal
You're right, every year people say the league is getting worse (last few years parachute teams are way above everyone else, this year parachute teams falling behind), but it's not. It's a very good competitive league with strength in depth. 3 teams promoted who won't get relegated.

I've said this before and I'll say it again.

If it's such a shit league why aren't the likes of Ipswich walking it like Leeds and Burnley did last season?

It's an idiotic argument. If anything with the sides coming up from L1 it's probably the most competitive it's been in years.

Ipswich looming. The two games are coming while both teams are in rollicking form. Charlton should be a walkover, they've collapsed, if we can just get out of that Ipswich away game with something - PNE/Bristol/Southhampton three really tough fixtures before Swansea at home, another side in poor form, hopefully another walkover before the Ipswich home fixture. Championship is really tough.

The two games against Ipswich will decide who finishes top in my opinion.

This lot took the piss in our darkest days.

A few tough weeks and this is what they are taking to Southampton. The Fulham of the midlands, always have been.

Pathetic

Although I'd argue that the reason Fulham's support is poor is because as an affluent area most of it's populace are more interested in tennis and cricket, whereas in Lester the only alternative pastimes are knicker-stitching and breaching the acceptable boundaries of familial relationships

It’s madness that the difference in points between us and second is the same as the difference in points between second and seventeenth/eighteenth.

Ipswich are looking ominous now. Unbeaten in 6 and will go 2nd if they win their game in hand. Would expect them to be our main rivals for the title. Middlesbrough looked good last night but very frail defensively. Stoke and Preston I’d expect to fall away. Bristol City seem a bit streaky.

Reached the 2 ppg eventually lol.
For reference, we're 20 points ahead of Bristol City in 2nd (during Frank's tenure at the club)...astonishing.
Just the 89 goals score as well !

Ipswich look fine I suppose by the standards of everyone else but not by our standards. They might be catching us in the table (overtaking the trash) but in reality over whatever period of time you want to look at we are pulling further away from them. They have actually only won 1 of their last 4 home games.

Damn shame (tee hee) that Derby's Carlton Morris is out for at least 3 months (maybe the season at worst).
Hopefully that should stifle their current run of form.

Why? They won’t be a worry to us and they can take points off others close to us. I’m disappointed he’s injured personally, Derby could have been doing us favours
