I've got tickets. Not sure if I can go though. The only way us points pawpers can build our totals.

I'm potentially just spending £50 to get me and my lads points up. Not sure we can do 3 hrs there, 3 hours back with me working and him at school.

Will Rob Edwards still be manager by then ?

He’s been approached by Wolves, didn’t take the teams training session today and cancelled his pre-match conference today…

It’s not looking good for Boro and frankly, it’s a bit of a risk for Edwards even if its his old club.

Money talks i guess. Wolves will be going down no matter who the Manager.

Shame the 1200+ gang cant be arsed with this one. They'll wait for the closer games to farm points.

There isn't a coach from Coventry parking, it will deter most people from going if they have to drive that distance and get a hotel for a Tuesday night game in the middle of November.

Well apparently this is the only way that lower points holders can build points to try and get level with the ones who only have to keep buying the local games to keep their levels.

Im just poking the bear really and playing devil's advocate. It's not as clear cut as some make it out.

It’s not the only way but it’s the most cost effective and efficient way to build points. There’s 6 midweek games that’ll bag 130 points versus 8 Saturday games for 80 points. That’s assuming you managed to get tickets for Oxford, Wrexham and Millwall away in the league cup.

After new year, there only 120 points available from away games and Blues, WBA, QPR and Watford will be early sell outs.

As soon as you get to 1700-1800+, you’re more or less guaranteed a ticket to every game you want to go to.

Really! Who the fuck have I given £52 for 2 seats to then?
I found it now at the bottom of the page. :giggle:
I saw the match before & after on their calendar and looked no further.

We all have commitments. We all work, have families etc but we dont make out the system is a closed shop because the one away game you want to go to in a season you cant because you dont make the sacrifices that others do
It is a closed shop still but who gives a monkey’s? If you want to get to the game there are ways and means. We have no problem getting tickets in the home end when it’s needs must (such as tomorrow) and people can fly their “hard yards” flags and bleat on about all their points and their away games up north on a Tuesday night. And yes, I have a Middlesbrough ticket-this time in the Cov end! 😀

The allocation is pretty small, 2.1k.

It’s only ever a ‘closed shop’ when it’s big away games. Midweek away days and cup games is where you grow your points and it’s the most cost efficient too. Millwall, Pompey, Boro, PNE away nets you an easy 80 points this side of the New Year. If these games were being sold out at 1200+ points, I’d be much more sympathetic of the need to have a ‘ballot system’.

The only midweek away game in 2026 is Sheff U as things stand (FA Cup could impact the fixtures). No doubt when away games like WBA, Bristol, Hull and Watford come about, the ‘closed shop’ brigades who want ballots will moan.
Problem is, I want to be there for the time we finally win, but that trip on a tuesday, urgggggghhhhhhh

Preston and Blackburn are ok to travel to from Cov/Warks.
