Thomas and kitching did very well
Allen amazing at the end, just battled and played an amazing ball.
Wright, got an assist but not very good otherwise.
Mve, what was up with him? He couldn't pass, out of position every time.

Lampard. Tactical genius at half time??

Thomas excellent. He looks like he could be turning into the real deal. Kitching also very good; one swivelled turn was utter filth.

Torp and Saka very good too.

Shout out to Sam McCallum too, who's a very good footballer, and he had a very good game, especially in the first half. Always liked him.

Think we need to give the coaching team a 10 .
The improvement in the squad is incredible. Thomas and Kitching are just an incredible pairing
DaSilva is a consistent 7 most games these days
Torp showing and playing to his potential
BTA ,wow , he was honking at times last season but he's on fire
Sakamoto is playing with more freedom and timing his runs into the box brilliantly
EMC not the finished article but such an attacking option
And Simms looks a threat when called upon and looks confident too

Eccles getting unfair scores here. The sub was the right decision for the team but not because he was playing badly.

There’s deffo some confirmation bias with him. In fact the bloke behind me said “well played Torp” when it was Eccles… and “move it quicker Eccles” when it was Torp.

Rushworth - 6 - terrifies me with his indecision sometimes
MvE - 6 - bit erratic
Thomas - 8 - top level CB
Kitching - 7 - solid
DaSilva - 7 - I never want to see Jake Bidwell play for this football club again
Grimes - 7 - solid
Torp - 7 - solid
Sakamoto - 8 - Good finish, great work up and down
BTA - 6 - good work ethic but not a 10 or a winger for me
Eccles - 6 - fine, no issue making the change at HT, Frank learning from Wrexham
EMC - 7 - turned the game in our favour - end product poor
Wright - 6 - some nice touches but a little slow to react and poor header first half.

Allen - 7 - great work off the bench

Thought Wright was better today. Came short and linked up play.

When Milan lost the ball and tracked his man all the way to the other side of the pitch (made a good tackle in the end), Haji bust a gut to cover him at right back. Rated that. Not bad for a lazy fucker.

Agree. Eccles did OK but it wasn't working and the change was the right one

You need to watch the first 15-20 of the second half again , just him coming on and attacking their right back totally changed the game in our favour
I was sat yards away from it, the change in shape and intensity turned the game around but I stand by what I said on his use of the ball.

So him coming on changed the intensity and got us looking like a real threat but cause he made a couple of bad choices he's only a 5?
Fair enough , You're usually a very fair poster but I think you're well wide of the mark on this occasion

I’m happy to hear the arguments against what I’ve written, I’ve no axe to grind against the player. For me poor use of the ball was a huge problem throughout the team and throughout the game aside from that 15 minutes after half time.

In my view his part in that was significant enough to justify a 5.

He's not a 10/attacking mid so I assume the idea behind playing him there is to use his energy for pressing and give us more presence in midfield compared to when BTA is there. For me he just didn't impact the game enough, played slightly too high and seemed to be lacking some fitness.

Didn’t he play further forward as a kid? I’m sure I remember him being top scorer for the U23s at one point.
