Why would a manager go and work at a club that is in the same situation as City last season? His next job is surely a bigger club than Southampton.
If you wanted to name the most similar club to Coventry in terms of size and history it would be Southampton. This is the ultimate definition of a sideways move.

If anything Doug needs to offer a new contract to Lampard in the new year. He will only have a season and a half left on his contract.
The fucking arrogance to think they can nick Lampard or Robins when they’re sat just above all the relegation zone and are about as fashionable as pocket protectors as a club.
A new contract wouldn’t so much make it less likely that the manager would leave but it would ensure we would get a large compensation deal if he left.
