At last, we can all relax now.
Were you not relaxed anyway? Who in their right mind leaves a Chpionship club for Scotland? He was never leaving. Not for Rangers any doubt.

Maybe it's just me, but I really can't see Lampard wanting to take what is at best a sideways step to another Championship club. I don't think he goes anywhere unless it's a Premier League job. Hopefully he gets that with us next season anyway.

Damn and Ian evatt just signed by Blackpool 🤣

Don't think we need to worry, doubt Doug would let him leave without one hell of a fee and don’t think he would want to go especially right now
We don’t need to worry - If Graeme Bailey told me the sky was blue, I would stick my head out the window just to be 100% sure

He’s an absolute chancer, same bloke who said Lampard going there in the summer and Wright was signing for Leicester last Jan whilst injured - He should move into stand up comedy

Why would a manager go and work at a club that is in the same situation as City last season? His next job is surely a bigger club than Southampton.

Feel Southampton and Wolves are not a step up as things stand.
Southampton had a lot of managers lately with no improvement and Wolves are odds on for relegation.
If Doug can reassure Lamps he will buy players in January, I don't think Lamps is going to either.

No chance of this happening.

The absolute best he can do with Wolves is keep them up
The absolute best he can do with Southampton is make the playoffs

His absolute best with us is winning the league

He can't do any better at those clubs than he can here

Also, he needs something big on his CV. Getting us promoted will be remembered for a long time. Getting Southampton up of keeping Wolves up is nothing

Lampard knows he has a good thing going here and is building something great. His next move won’t be to another Champ club.

We are his redemption arc….. he’d be insane to walk away given where he’s got us.

If anything Doug needs to offer a new contract to Lampard in the new year. He will only have a season and a half left on his contract.

The fucking arrogance to think they can nick Lampard or Robins when they’re sat just above all the relegation zone and are about as fashionable as pocket protectors as a club.

A new contract wouldn’t so much make it less likely that the manager would leave but it would ensure we would get a large compensation deal if he left.

Be amazed if either were interested in the job. Especially Lampard.
