They've all got lots of points thoughWhat a woeful away end that was. Zero support in the second half.
Wrexham fans were excellent and rightfully took the piss.
Well it was the worst performance ever in the 137 years of Football League history apparently, so obviously the fans will be a bit subduedWhat a woeful away end that was. Zero support in the second half.

People are just expecting us to win now. It’s sad.
They've all got lots of points though
Yep.
We pulled a goal back and couldn't even muster a song in support.
Everything is awfulWhich is the worry. This will be the same 1500 who are at every game and are seemingly getting quieter.
But the performance was absolutely dreadful, so why would they?
We're terrible
Everything is awful
The decline of this club is getting worse isn't it?
Usual excuses unfortunately.
3 years ago, it would have been song after song trying to back the players.
Like you say, the support is getting worse
Yeah?
Yep. Let's get back to the 7k faithfulLike you say, the support is getting worse
Yep. Let's get back to the 7k faithful![]()

To be fair, it was only away games that we were really noisy, then. That's what's baffling. Those people are still there and have suddenly given up making noise!
I think that’s definitely the case. Nervousness from some and and expectation from others seems to have reduced the atmosphere.Tuesdays a test for the team and the fans, last night was a reality check for both, you can’t just turn up and expect to win, we all have to put the effort in, maybe it’s because we’ve been the underdogs for so many years get it rocking and the players respond,

Cov as underdogs is our comfortable position and the passion comes with it!
This is probably true but it's not reduced the atmosphere, it's fully killed it. It was horrendous last night. Outsung all night.
Bit dramatic. It has fallen off for sure, but not nearly as much as you're stating. Expectation and nervousness plays a part, I'm weirdly more nervous at games this season than I've been for a good while. At home, last couple of games have been flat, but hardly silent, still better than many in this league on a good day. When you're 3-0 up early in a game and the opposition are down to 10, the game is won, there is no jeopardy. It's a case of going through the motions on and off the pitch.
Last night the first half was ok, but yeah, second half was very subdued. Away from home is where you notice it most. That said, Derby was this season and one of the best away ends I've been in.
It'll build as the season goes on. There will be days when it is rocking and some not. I don't think we need to worry too much. I expect Tuesday and next Saturday it will be very different.
Better than most in the league, maybe. Not close to Wrexham though. Barely a moments silence. It reminded me of us 3 years ago. Fully backing their team.
It was so bad last night. Usual 10 renditions of PUSB within 15 minutes and very little else. Doesn't actually seem like there's any small groups wanting to start songs off anymore. No drum at away games anymore doesn't help either.
Just take that one on the chin. Wrexham fan I know says that's the best home atmosphere for a good while there. They were just on it tonight it seems, there was a bit of backs to the wall after Tuesday and they rallied. Fair play. It reminded me a bit of that Peterborough Friday night game a few seasons ago, and maybe Oxford too last season. They won't be that noisy every game and we won't be that quiet. One of those
As somebody pointed out earlier in this thread - 'We've got lots of points though'
That wasn't support last night, it was smug contentment with who you are and a dash of entitlement.
Very poor - Must do better.
If the atmosphere was as bad as you say it was, then the idea of having some fans there who don’t always expect to have the privilege of a ticket in a sellout away end doesn’t sound so bad.Last night was the first time I've thought the idea of a ballot for 10% of the tickets wouldn't be a bad idea.

Usually the limited allocations generate the best at atmosphere. Last season Oxford and Luton away, this year Oxford was decent enough. Not sure what the ballot achieves, it's the same people at those games that were there last night in the main. It was just an off day.
