Watford cheering their players like they are heroes. That sums it up really.
We didn’t really look like a promotion-chasing team today but we win 3-1.
I agree how can you look like a promotion chasing team when you’ve scored 3 goals and got 3 points.

How can you feel so flat and deflated after winning 3-1? Because thats exactly how that feels!
Poor, poor game management. Out played again for large parts of the game. Really rode our luck. Thankfully we were clinical when it mattered.

Yes we didn't play well second half but it's human nature to be complacent when 3 up and a man advantage. I'm sure lampard will ensure they don't react like that on similar situations in the future

We looked like we were the ones with 10 men second half. Pretty poor performance but 3 points is all that matters.
That’s pretty bizarre as games of football go. Rushworth has worked miracles in goal and we’ve taken every chance.

What was Eccles doing when he came on btw, standing next to Simms as if he was playing as a second striker.
They were good.
No-one else has caused us anything like that sort of trouble. However, they won't do anything this season because they're calamitous at the back.
Flattering. Rode our luck, very lucky first half and got bossed by 10 men in the second. Wouldn’t recommend letting teams go at us like that if our ambitions are autos.

Watford will cause other teams problems, they're a very decent side. Second half was pretty poor, but being 3 up and a man up is bound to just put complacency into the players minds.

Its all well and good having poor games, but to be completely outplayed for 45 mins by 10 men, at home, and pick up 3 yellows, a suspension and gift a daft penalty. Thats not having a "poor game". Thats just piss poor game management. Thankfully we were clinical when it mattered.

Exactly. They played like heroes in the second half and people aren't happy because we've not scored against a side sitting deep. We won 3-1!

A few times we left the ball exposed in our own penalty area / didn’t clear quick enough etc. On another day that would have cost us goals

No team can play well every game for a full season. There will be bumps along the way but we’re in a great position, are getting great results and have been playing very well for the majority of the season. I’m sure Lampard will have learnt a few things today and we’ll work to iron out the issues.
We looked very complacent, but frankly I don't care. It's another three points and another week we go undefeated.
A seven point gap on 3rd place, and a ten point gap on 7th place. We are flying.
