I think asante and thomas were our better players , hard game to judge as we were quite meh
Asante was a weird one, he was good but not really good at the role he was in. I think Lampard should reconsider what he does there for Pompey away. Would be helpful if sick note Eccles was an option.

From the highlights it looks like Rushworth was MoM?

No idea but as I was waiting for the lift out of the balcony bar the staff member said “probably bringing the man of the match up” and then Rushworth walked out, so maybe?

I agree he isnt suited to the role ability wise , but his workrate is hard to replicate .. frank clealry likes him and a contentious opinion from me , i think we are better with him wide than when saka plays there

Saka was useless as a 10. BTA is playing a different role to the midfielders who play there tbh.

Only sung when we were winning. Got to come from the team though. Expectations are high already.
I don't see it that way as I think they already have it in the bank for at least 5minutes, today may have been the one occasion for some noise to help them over the hump.

I could be wrong but I don’t think we had a shot first half. Players weren’t on it and everyone is waiting for the spell to break I think. Today was a massive result.

Thought MVE, BTA, Thomas and Kitching were very good. Rushworth good with his hands, less so with his feet. Everyone else played well enough. Wright very good first 15 but looked dead afterwards.
