Maybe we can get Jerry Dammers back to reprise his stint on the turnstiles for us.

Pretty certain reading in his autobiography that King and some members of The Specials officially performed as part of Harry Roberts testimonial.

Yes JHB - I was there for my sins. Looks like testimonials are a thing of the past - anyone remember the last testimonial game for one of our players?

Looking forward to this a lot wonder how its going to work with WLADITT, maybe we’ll walk out to them playing it?
I imagine the crowd will join in and sing along but without the words will be about 3 seconds ahead as normal so we'll hear the band finish through the crackly PA system just after the fans.

Unless they're setting up a stage in the stand I don't see how this will be logistically possible. If they're pitchside they'll need time to get everything out of the way before kick off.

We went to leverkusen the day they got the league title. They had a folk band play in the penalty area until 30 seconds before kick off

I've worked at loads of games at Twickenham and Wembley and it's easily done. The best way is everything is pre set on a trailer. They just walk out jump on the trailer and play the songs. As soon as they are finished they wheel the trailer out. As there is the Ambulance entrance next to singers corner would be easy to do it there.

Ticket sales for this game looking v strong already, good move by DK doing on Tuesday night, when likely attendance would be down little.

suspect another sell out incoming

There's talk of Doug drafting in Shakin' Stevens pre match to boost the post Xmas Monday Ipswich gate.
I'd be worried there was cryptic messaging going on if he sang This Ole House. Though he could change it to This Olé House

It'll probably be a platform that can be wheeled out.
