Wright will score 20 this season if he stays fit

Hilarious how shit his goals look this year (mostly) but I think scruffy goals are the sign of a poacher and I am all for it!
I think it has a lot to do with Lampards coaching. Getting players to arrive in areas at certain times, centre of six yard box and far post. Also following shots in.

Yea, its a tough call for Lampard. But its great to have that competition.
For my money, based on current form BTA starts ahead of EMC
fatso, no disrespect for your comment but If there was the availability of a half like I would have given it.
For me it's still Saka & EMC if Wright is available, over Tommy Assante.

With Rudoni still injured, we have the option to continue with BTA as a number 10.
His work rate and pace is a big asset.
We've certainly not missed Rudoni so far, and I wouldn't of thought we'd be so full of goals without him.

For me, BTA has been the most improved player so far this season. (Just ahead of Dasilva)

I said I'm all for it I just think if you compare to his before this year!

Only played 10 minutes last night - good news for us!

next game is late Wednesday I think, so he won’t be back until Friday some point.

He will want to play every game this season, the carrot = the World cup in his own country. If he could get between 25-30 goal and lead us to the premiership, he would be on centre stage for the WC. Even the most easygoing laid back soul would change at the thought of what lies ahead. Play well for us and get promoted, play well at the World Cup and you could be looking at a ViKtor G moment.

The erection in me says if Wright stays fit and keeps this scoring regularity going (and past form says he would) then not only should he smash 25+ but, more importantly, we can’t really not stay in the top two conversation.

In practice he routinely gets a fairly serious injury and has a prolonged time out. Over to you BTA to keep up standards I don’t think anyone saw coming.

Just re-read the first sentence. Disclaimer - I am referring my own erection.

Should we be a bit disappointed if only gets 20 after the start that he has had!?

Didn’t Mifsud have about 10 by October and then didn’t score again all season?

It will be hard for Wright to get a starting lineup place for USA. They have quite a few strikers to choose from who are all quite good… nobody amazing but all pretty good in their own right

It’s a pretty solid national team these days. Should make decent headway next year

Is there a reason he wouldn’t fly back straight after the match and be back Wednesday night?

Unless he has a private jet chartered I think he will struggle to get back before Friday. The last direct flight out of Denver (where the match is) to the UK takes off two hours before kick off.

He'll be a late addition back to the squad, but I really hope he still starts.

Prefer to start him and take him off at 5-1
