Yeah that was definitely a thing - used to happen all the time at Leamington Brakes, moving from behind one goal to behind the other.
And if memory serves me right, ours were almost as low at times in the early 80's in the top flight, after Jimmy Hill's all-seater experiment. Banks of cold wet uncovered empty seating on the kop, and we were penned into cages in the West End. Looking back, it's hard to understand why I kept going through it all and never wavered

Im yet to go to a Non League game but I've been told its great. Not sure who I would choose to go and see though. Maybe Forest Green to see our boys but don't fancy a half time carrot.

I go and watch West Didsbury & Chorlton a few times a season in the North West Counties Premier Division which is step 9/10 I believe, currently averaging 600+ for this season
