What I meant was that a point is no good for two sides who both want to continue a winning run and stay in (or in our case) get into the top six. You’re currently 2nd in the league, and if results go against you on Tuesday night, you could drop down to 7th (8th if we beat you) so you need to win against us to keep that 2nd place.

You have the players and the confidence in your team to keep the winning run going, and I think you’ll all be very disappointed if you lose to us by say, one goal, and you do finish up Wednesday evening out of the top six.

Being in the top six doesn't mean anything at the start of October. If we take a point away against a likely top 10 team but end up 7th, it is still a good night for us

None of the 3 teams promoted last season won there.

Always a difficult place to win, the 4-1 under Mowbray being the exception (still my favourite away day - included a Burge penalty save at 0-0)

I'd take a draw, but would feel a little disappointed as unlike last season I don't think there is one team in the division where I think that we can't beat them. However that they have started badly at home bodes badly I'm afraid - law of averages

I really think we can win.

Some of those draws were a bit unlucky looking back on them. I have a lot of belief at the moment and the way we beat Birmingham so easily (notwithstanding their 10 men) gives me more reason to be optimistic.

Let's of course be professional and not get cocky, but I really believe we can come away with this with 3 points.

Won 3-0 there in 2023 when... checks notes... Joe Edwards was their manager. We hadn't won in 6 in the run up to the game. They were truly awful

Luckily he's a lot better as an assistant

Thinking of driving up for this one if I can get Mrs H to do the end of day nursery run.

Does anyone know of anywhere 'safe' to park within 10/15 mins of the ground?

Doesn't quite fit the criteria but the Asda on Old Kent Road is a 20/25 min walk away, £5 on JustPark and was fine for the cup game. No issues on the walk and a quick getaway afterwards. The Asda's open late as well so you can grab a snack and nip to the loo if needs be before the drive back

Millwall are a good side, I think they'll be in the playoff hunt.

Would be great to have EMC back in the squad, has there been any update on him?

Ideally would take four points out of the next two games, but six is definitely achievable.

Will probably need to see a few changes in the starting line up across the two games though as it's a quick turnaround. Be good to see Woolfenden at some point

id love a win, simms to come on late and score the winner
Well considering he scored 6 in 43 games last season and 0 in 5 this season i would say there is little chance. I did like what i seen on Saturday though but as so often with Simms he will never do it consistnetly. The best outcome is he manages to grab a few and someone comes in for him in January.

Anyone know how many have been sold?

I expected it to be a sell out given the amount of people that moaned about the points system and the fact they didn’t have enough for Leicester away.

Where is the Grapes? I reckon I’ll be in the Barrowboy or the George
Pretty much opposite the entrance to Borough Market on the High Street. Gets really packed though. There is a good sports bar about 5mins further down the High Street. We always start there and then walk back to Borough Market before getting the train.

Barrowboy is probably the most expensive pint in that area.

They've not said but its the end block on sale now which usually means the others sold out. At a guess i'd say approx 2.3k

The team in top place hasn’t even got 20 points. Means nothing at this point.

Well out of the six goals Millwall have scored this season four have come from set pieces.
they are big physical side so this will be a different test to what weve had so far and it will be a good messure on how the defence have improved or not when defending set pieces.

I think we may see Wolf at some stage this game but if we can defend those set pieces I think we will have to much for them going forward.
Hoping for a 0-2 win and closing the gap on first

he was pretty consistent in the first season

Just bought a ticket to come up on my own as the step dad can't make it and my boy is too young.

Think I'm going to be tight for KO though with London traffic :-(

Is there a chance we set up with KKH and MVE on the right?
I'd be tempted to start Brau tomorrow allowing BTA to move to the right. Give Saka a rest, or as you say KKH in for Saka. Although, I think Frank will name an unchanged team, and will make changes on Saturday if needed

My usual tactic is to park outside ULEZ zone and take the tube all the way in. Uxbridge just off M40 is good. Half mile walk to tube station.

Cheers Jim, I'm coming from Portsmouth so the other side really. I had a quick look at that option and maybe driving to Wimbledon and getting overground to South Bermondsey.

Anyway, ticket purchased so I'll have to look at it now!

I live in Bristol and did that the last time.

Used to use Ealing Broadway but ULEZ and parking restrictions screwed that.

I've never bought a ticket so late... will need to get to the ground in time to get my ticket.

Does anyone know it it's open right up to KO?

I think I'm going to drive to Croydon and get the train from there. I can get a direct train to S.Bermondsey which should take about 30 mins.

There is a brand new Wetherspoons that’s just opened at London Bridge if you’re that way inclined - don’t know what its away fan policy will be.

The Shipwright Arms on Tooley Street is miles nicer than the Barrow Boy, close to the train platform too.
