Absolutely embarrassing that Sheffield United are sending the 4am 'you up' text to Wilder yet again after their latest attempt of a new marriage has once again failed

And even more embarrassing that Wilder has given them the time of day, if he hasn't asked for and got at least double what he was earning when they sacked him he has got no bollocks - I would be telling them to go swivel

I don’t know. I wonder if anyone has been impressed with Brau as I haven’t. Seems out of his depth. Hope he improves and proves me wrong.
Seems to be the team’s latest ‘hype man’ - always seems to be bouncing around the touchline and shouting encouragement - which is no bad thing, and should help his integration into the squad.

Depends how his PILON was structured to be fair. Most are given as a single payment so more likely that he did get something.

I know managers can also just be paid for the duration of their contract as part of their settlement agreement.
he's unlikely to get the full 2 years money on top of his new salary.

Wilder now confirmed as Sheff Utd manager.

The SUFC board said in their announcement:

"Chris Wilder returns with proven leadership and an unparalleled understanding of Sheffield United. We are confident he is the right person to restore momentum, unite the squad and supporters, and deliver the results necessary to achieve our objectives this season".

Yet you sacked him a few months ago?! Clowns!

Just returned from my mates house who lives round the corner and has been a Sheffield Utd season ticket holder for 40 odd years. Amongst a significant number the return of Wilder is not being welcomed with open arms. In his words " back to kicking lumps put of the opposition and defending one goal leads for 70 minutes. I was hoping for someone who could get us playing football to entertain . We will be back to being a Championship club " .

Just seen the news that the talking baked potato is back in a job.
What the hell are their board playing at?

If I was a sheff utd fan i would be highly embarrassed.
They wanted him gone at the end of last season 😂

Watching Swansea v Forest. Although Forest are winning, Swansea look half decent, and that Benson (ex Burnley player) looks a handful on the right wing. Decent signing.

Ange could tale Forest down.
Incredible win for Swansea - but Forest had about 6 decent chances in the second half and kept faffing about - shooting when they could have passed for a tap in etc. Terrible decision making. The winner for Swansea was a great goal (as was the equaliser). Not sure about Swansea's defence, but they have a lot of good players, and some depth, going forward. I fancy them to win at Blues based on that (if the pitch hasn't taken too much out of them).

The shot that went in for the 3rd should never have got by the keeper.

Only saw it in real time (didn't watch the replay). It was more the shot that hit the bar, then the player hitting the rebound first time, with some venom. Didn't realise it had been close to the keeper.

Swansea have that Alan Sheehan who was briefly linked with us prior to Lampard be interesting to see what he’s like
