OUR RISE UNDER FRANK (1 Viewer)

The football we play is excellent, with so many players confident on the ball & I don’t believe that we have ever made the amount of chances , that we are making , throughout our 24 years of lower leagues football .
Today was a blip , with a totally negative team , so fortunate to grab a point , but is this the blue print for teams to come to the CBS ?
If so , we must be nearly there , in terms of how other teams see our quality .
We have nothing to fear & when the Wolf is released , I think Frank will get us to the promised land !

2nd would be an amazing achievement and this season I’m collecting all my ticket stubs which would be a nice memento to convert into a ‘collage’ for the man cave.

I don’t think we have the squad for 2nd place. The only way I see it happening is if we’re 1-3 place going into the Jan window and we just go all out to sign 3-4 signings.

just shows. we’re playing well but only 2 wins from 5 more easier games is a bit disappointing, these are the games we need to be winning at home They’ll make the difference between 5th and 6th or top 3, it’s a very good start though compared to most seasons

Our fixtures haven’t been as easy as being made out.

- Oxford will be decent at home this year
- QPR have won 2 on the bounce after we beat them
- Derby have beat WBA and drew to Ipswich
- Norwich are 10th and should be in and around the playoffs (again) this season

No one could complain if we’d have had 15 from 15 points this season. Our last 3 results haven’t done the performances justice to be honest.

Was Oxford a blip too? We have to be clinical we have a soft under belly and concede too many silly goals.

Going forward we’re electric, defensively not so much

ironically, i think we need to be a bit smarter in front of goal - barring the Hull game we could have had 5/6 in the other 4 games. On the bright side, i can see us scoring 5 a fair few times, but if we can be more consistent we'll blow most teams away.

Like you said though - the silly goals are frustrating.

We're not far away from a top 2 side.

Just worried About options when we do get injuries. hopefully we’ll get some help in January if we need it. we’re looking very good , but like you say need to take more of our chances, just watched Simms ‘s miss again, absolute sitter,

I'm loving the attacking football at the moment and fully on board with Lampard but we haven't actually achieved anything under him..... yet.

Just look forward to every game, managed to get a Leicester ticket and the Birmingham game will be rocking. As Kevin Keegan famously said I'd love it if we beat these, love it!
