Sorry if already been mentioned, just got home and not read through everything, but
two main points - firstly are refs ignoring this
8 seconds rule already, or are some of them simply forgetting it exists. 3 times today they’re keeper had hold of it way longer and the ref did nothing.

secondly are refs not bothered about giving foul throws anymore either. Again on more than one occasion it was a blatant foul throw, but ref just let them carry on!

Norwich will struggle to field a team next week with all their injuries. It was an absolute pisd take when one of their players laid out on the floor with 2 physios attending for several minutes getting Thomas booked to then just get up and walk freely back to his position without as much as a limp

We are such a dangerous team going forward. There are threats from everywhere.
EMC impressed me again yesterday.
Take Norwich's housery starting at 20mins as a compliment.

It doesn’t always go your way, that is football. But in recent years against Norwich that is a point gained.

It is a long season and we have barely started. Keep the faith and PUSB.

Just watched the 15minute highlights, good god how did we not win!

outstanding football again. Really is joy to watch at times. We are also having one of those spells where any shot they have bobbles in, generally we’ve been better defensively.

just final ball and a little luck yesterday. On we go.

Only real critic was thomas especially first half, just needs to be better at times, sloppy.

Be Interesting when Lampard drops wolf in.

Bta miss was as astonishing as his touch leading up to the goal

Most Norwich fans will be disappointed that they didn’t try to get a second. Their keeper made two top drawer saves and we were profligate to be honest.

To say they defended resolutely when they gave up 4.03 xG is just not the reality of how the game panned out. If that’s how they play away from home, they’ll have a similarly poor away record to Bristol City last season under Manning.
A lot of those shots we had were blocked. Shows how resolute their defending was.

ultimately we had 28 shots but 4 on target.

we played really well, deserved to win. But to say they didn’t defend well is a bit misplaced. They came here knowing we were the better side and played to nullify our threat.

I’m confident we beat Leicester next week. If we can cut out the defensive mistakes,be a bit smarter in the opposition box - I think we can push the top 2

That Norwich no 5 big lump ( I think ) was good.

We need to get used to games like this. Ipswich and ourselves are the standout sides in the Championship this season especially at home.

Norwich wouldn't have come to our place to play like this but it didn't take them long to find out we're certainly a level above them. They got the early goal with their only shot on target of the game then defended like their lives depended on the result.

Yesterday would have been the perfect chance to bring Woolfenden on for Thomas after his early booking. The problem is Lampard likes our defenders to join in with attacking play that leaves us vulnerable at the back. There has to be a happy medium somewhere.

I don’t think we have anything to fear at Leicester but my confidence wains when we know we concede 1/2 goals every game. We will concede at Leicester.

I’d say to put Wolf in but based on FL comments, he isn’t match fit.

Really? Their 2 centre backs were far better than either Kitching or Thomas (will reserve judgement on Woolfenden until we’ve seen him).
Their centre back fucked up allowing us to equalise.

I think a lot of it was us choosing to shoot directly at defenders. We still could and should have had 4 or 5.
