£3.60 a pint is a good price, fair play.
Thought it was a sincere effort to engage. Doug comes across as astute and willing to do the right thing. The days of SISU are thankfully a dimming nightmare.
Yeah that's what I thought too.Probably adding 2+2 and getting 5, but the comments about spending money in the club and nowhere else felt like a big of a dig at somewhere. Perhaps Dhillons?

'The away points system is broken'
What pellet sent that in?!
No doubt someone on a out 500 points who's aggrieved they couldn't get a Leicester ticket!
He is on about can corner tooYeah that's what I thought too.
Mind you, if the club can get a Box-Park vibe going in the exhibition hall pre/post match they could rake it he
Maybe the bill didn't get paid![]()
when I saw the Wifi question pop up
Yeah there was Portsmouth and West Brom wasThere's lots with this view. Doug answered well though, there were many games last season that were freely available.

It definitely went to general sale as I only had 500 odd points at the time and wentPompey wasn't as I had to get a ticket off someone off here.
It's been a long day
No single plan of what happens with the arena away from the game itself will be for the majority.I doubt it. It's something all clubs want. They want people up there from 12 for a 3pm kick off. New built grounds generally offer this.
Personally, although I'm happy to spend money at the club, you won't get me there early.

Many like to have a few beers and enjoy the buildup to the game. The location of the arena doesn't make this easy. It's the one thing HR will always have been better for. But if we could have a 'fans village' every game it would be a good experience for many and could raise a lot of money for our club. Some of us enjoy spending time with like minded people before a game having a few beers.
Exactly. It may not be what you want for yourself but is what many others would want.Although in many ways, the location works better for making money. If you arrive to the stadium early, the main option is drinking in the fanzones/concourses. At Highfield Road, you had way more options to spend money elsewhere.
Clever thing to do would be to provide some form of fan zone for away fans. There are already a couple of bars outside the away end. Take Norwich on Saturday. Their fan coaches will likely arrive at 12/1pm. Provide a fan zone and they'll drink there.
