Sure I've posted this before but I can't find it.
Are there away friendly pubs anywhere near the ground? Asking for a Blues mate of mine.

Are there still shuttle buses back to the city centre after the game?
If so, are any specifically for away fans?

Thanks.

Coach and Horses is the closest away pub these days. Longford Engine has closed.

Dhillons Brewery allows away fans too although not designated.

There are still shuttle buses but they are no longer free. Away fans use them.

if they go into town before the game it's likely the police will herd them into a pub of their choosing, it always used to be the litten tree but not sure which one now it is closed

Is the Bull and Anchor away friendly these days? Sure it used to be?

If they behave themselves then Dhillons will be fine. If they don't then the rottweilers will have a field day.

I'm sure most things/places should be away friendly these days as long as you're not a complete tool.

All the away fans can piss off from the Bull and Anchor, they nick all the parking spaces

The best Blues fans i've met have still been rather stupid and with an obscene level of arrogance about what their club is. The vast majority have just been pure cunts.
The 'local' ones around Warwick etc are all sound. A lot still carry that 'Zulu' mentality and always seem a bit pumped up, home and away. We have a few twits, but they have more imo.

In town yeah but the likes of the Casino and Anecdote don't allow away fans. Wouldn't recommend the Cherry Tree or Wheatsheaf either...

They send away fans to spoons. Loads of QPR in there the other week.

Will they for the Blues game though? Given they have had a fair few who look for trouble at past games I'd be shocked if the plice don't corral all the ones in town into one place.

Yeah in spoons town or the Longford Engine.

To be fair, there's not many coming compared to previous years.

Can't see it being spoons as they are popular with home fans as well

Our old bill always recommended Flying Standard but who knows for Blues.

There isn't enough of them for it to be a big issue I don't think. Some will go to town, others will do the Longford Engine.

They ain't doing the flying standard as an away only pub. To popular with cov fans and too near to where most fans will be catching the bus.

Also too close to where the "normal" people are.

The Standard has never been asked to be an away only pub. As I said they always used the Litten Tree and there hasn't been a game that has required an away pub since that shut.

Pubs in town allow anyone really. Our police tweet about it most weeks, even for Leicester fans.

Surprised he can afford a beer with being ripped off by us. I hear the Wheatsheaf is nice this time of year though
