I'm not sure how it would work with holding money etc but I'm sure if there's a link to a funeral collection we could put something in.@stupot07 if you're able to share and are OK with it, any idea how old he was and if he had kids etc?
Very soon I appreciate but if anything we could contribute to as a forum for somewhere he spent lots of time, it might be nice.
* Tbh @Nick perhaps a general fighting fund you could hold so we could always send a community gift/message.
I meant just a general one in the name Sky Blue Talk that you control and then send a wreath with SBT in Sky Bkue flowers or something for any time something like this happens. I know not everyone agrees with you but I think most would trust your honesty/integrity.I'm not sure how it would work with holding money etc but I'm sure if there's a link to a funeral collection we could put something in.
How old was he Wingy?Rip Malc.
A quick turnaround from the onset and diagnosis where he just had a funny turn up at the match just before Christmas.
Medical admin career iirc and plenty to say on that matter.

Certainly had a view on getting into and out of the (Ricoh).RIP Malc, he was a good contributor on this forum. I always the fear the worst when a contributor’s activity drops off.

Didn’t realise Malc was your Dad, Stu. Losing a parent is something that you spend your life preparing for but will never be truly ready for. Thoughts go out to you and your family. Know you’ve mentioned your lad on here a few times before, hope he’s doing ok with it too, losing my grandparents was a really tough time in young life 🩵Yes, he's just turned 72 at the beginning of the month. I just wanted to share that @MalcSB passed away last night after a short battle with cancer. He'd shared in the Politics thread in December that he had recently been diagnosed with brain cancer.
It has been a short battle, diagnosed mid December, then had surgery to remove it the tumour on News Years Day. Unfortunately, when the tumour was tested it was confirmed as stage 4 Glioblastoma, which is the most aggressive type of brain cancer. The prognoses was anywhere between 6 and 18 months.
He decided to fight it and had two rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy, however, an MRI in July showed that not only had the tumour returned but 3 more had developed and that there was no point continuing with any treatment.
There had been a rapid progression in his illness over the last 6-8 weeks, before passing away peacefully in his sleep with his wife holding his hand.
