I do think some of the criticism of KKH on here is way over the top. I for one am reserving judgement until he has had a chance to settle in and get some minutes under his belt.

I thought Brau showed some nice touches.
It's pretty simple

He was shit tonight

Doesn't mean recruitment got it wrong though. I expect him to go on to be a good player for us.

Brau had a much better game than KKH although I’m yet to see what he ever offers at LW, and I’m not sure what’s to gain from routinely moving him there (other than minutes). That blown chance in stoppage time was dire.

Tonight showed that our strength is depth isn’t that great. Granted, Sheaf and Eccles were injured and Lati too.

The reason I’ve been banging on about wingers all preseason is because right now, Rapha is our only recognised winger in the squad. EMC is carrying a knock so his minutes are being managed and Sakamoto is currently out injured.

There will be games where we need the 2nd and 3rd choice players to step up and make an impact.

Game passed him by completely, really.
He had a couple of nice touches and played a nice ball to BTA in the box in the 2nd half.

Right now, you wouldn’t back him and make an impact if he was required to fill for a first team player. He’s a raw prospect. The same applies to Rapha.

He’s still developing and if Lampard believes the best way to do that is with us, or out on loan… I trust him.

So maybe it was just Luton reserves making ours look OK? Would be good to add a bit of depth this week. A winger at least.

Thought he did okay.. He was on his own up front, playing with our second team.

Really, if you're a centre forward playing up front on your own the one thing you need to do is to hold the ball up which allows other players to join the attack.

Don’t get the nonchalance.

Yea it’s not the end of the world by any stretch, but a cup run is enjoyable as fan. See Wolves and Man U as evidence; two memorable experiences as a CCFC fan.

And it doesn’t automatically mean it detracts from the league performances either. We weren’t great tonight but lost due to sloppiness and mistakes.

The examples you give are FA Cup. If we bow out of the FA Cup like we did tonight then I will be pissed off. Just don't feel the same about this competition. Will gladly sacrifice a defeat tonight if it means us beating Oxford on Saturday.
