Money flowing into the Club from all over. rent from hotel and casino, hire of all the exhibition halls, every day there seems to be some show or other on, F+B, carparking from everything on, Shows and gigs throughout the year = loads a money. Naming rights and branding sponsors, the list goes on.

Top 4. In keeping a level head after today. This season we’ll struggle where we need to change things from the bench imo. Can you rely on bringing KKH/Brau and Rapha on the wings when chasing games? Probably not.

It’s just amazing news - hopefully they can get 2-3 concerts each summer , the cost possibly of laying a new pitch after the concerts will be small compared to the revenue they would bring. The exhibition hall is a good size for small to medium sized events and of course is perfectly positioned right slap bang in the middle of the country. There will be some aggressive selling of the facilities coming up for certain

Our commercial fortunes have completely changed over night. It’s a monumental moment.

We were getting a small part of match day revenue with a cut going to Frasers, we were hiring the stadium from them. We were getting nothing from the hotel, exhibitions, concerts etc… now it’s all ours.

There are investment opportunities around the stadium with the land we now own as well. Commercial and sponsorship deals will be massive.

New investors will be inevitable now and the cash flow will increase into the club.

In time that’s going to translate into investment on the field as well. Bigger signings, wage cap will increase etc etc.

The brand Coventry City is going to fly…

Think you're getting a bit carried away, though I really hope you bump this post in a couple of years to say I told you so.

What's beyond doubt, is that we're in massively much better position today than we were yesterday

Decent transport would help King greatly. I hope he's having conversations, or maybe he'll just buy his own goddamn trains like a boss. The Piss The League Express... all aboard!

A444 down to 1 Lane today before the game, even though there were no road works, causing unnecessary tailbacks.
It's like getting in and out of Takeshis fucking Castle at times.

Hasn't changed. Come the end of the 46 game season, I want us to be in Sunderlands position last year.

Auto's are hard, but we're an established play off team now, we should expect that

Still playoff push but not ruling out autos

We will see if increased revenue leads to bigger transfer budget but for now we know we have enough to build a good squad and that's ok

It’s very early days but the initial signs are that the relegated clubs might not be quite as dominant as previous seasons. We’ve had an easy start to the season, but how many easy starts to the season have we had in the past and how many of those have was scored 12 in after 3 games? Keep doing what we’re doing, keep the standards high and keep up the good feeling and who knows what happens. Treat the autos as achievable and see where the season takes us.

I think having the train run from Nuneaton to Coventry with a stop at the ground would massively help the situation.
Would be so much easier for Nuneaton, Bedworth and Coventry fans and would massively increase the match day experience.

Would also really help the away fans getting the train into Cov city centre and then get out with ease.

I’m surprised we are 20 years on and this still hasn’t happened.

First thing for me is to allow cars in the car park to actually leave after a game and not have any of the road closure bollocks.

Actually train the stewards to control the crowd and not have people blocking the entrance to the disabled areas.

Fix the PA system so Singers corner are not 5 seconds ahead of the rest of the stadium.

I've seen the stewards ask fans to stop vaping yet as soon as they are gone people start again.

More of this great build up play with Haji dropping and the wingers cutting in and Rudoni surging forward. Works so much better than spamming crosses.

we still need a CB and a winger. Get that in and the sky is the limit for us.

Not trying to be a downer and would be happy to be proved wrong. However is it the case that the arena has never made a profit? The losses have reduced over time I believe but that would be an outlay on the club and its finances? But it is an opportunity if things are managed well to bring in additional revenue, which im sure King and the team will be looking into.

There’s been a train station at the arena for ages, what are you on about. I literally got the 17:08 to Bedworth from the arena yesterday

I’m sure it will take time to realise full potential

My thoughts the road closure are here to stay .The reason they were put there is because some idiots think they can take on cars doing 30 or 40 miles an hour when lights change or when there is a gap in the traffic. You see it before every game as well.
I agee on your second point
