He's got then further in UCL qualifying than normal I believe and brugge got to round of 16 last year
Frustrating start in the league though. But I hope he is given till the end of year to embed it personally

They got to the groups 3 seasons ago and the play off round, like they are in now, 2 seasons ago.
He looks a total misfit for what they need and the signings are uninspiring to say the least. I can't see him being there past Christmas.

Seemed like the thread for it as creating another one was pointless, but Celtic (the best in the SPL comfortably) going out to a team from Kazakhstan is absolutely wild. SPL is finished.
Also as I said earlier in the summer, anyone spending big on a player from there needs to be very careful, the standard is so poor you have no idea what you are getting really.

It’s a league where the scouts really have to earn their money so you’re landing a John McGinn rather than a typical SPL player. Telling that we’ll gladly send our fringe players on loan up there but I can’t remember when we last signed someone from there who made any tangible difference. Unless we count Josh Reid’s bench warming abilities.

If there will ever be a campaign where someone different has a real tilt at winning the pub league (Hearts?) it will be this one as from what I have seen so far Rangers and Celtic are both absolute guff this season
