I don't have to justify anything to you.

I think comparing post office sub masters with people who went out and committed violent disorder is a bit of a stretch an a huge insult tbh.
Like it or not the British public are generally pro law and order, whatever the “cause” behind the disorder.
I don’t think the issue is with the Englishman being sent to jail. But why was a child groomer spared prison?the top one is this guy

Scarborough: Teenager jailed for Islamic centre protest
James Martin was shouting and swearing outside while people were at prayer in an Islamic centre.www.bbc.co.uk
Who was actually sent to jail as he was arrest with firelighters and was planning to burn down the islamic centre
I don't have to justify anything to you.
Well choosing not to vote is where I'm at and I don't like that either. Politically homeless and for the first time ever, as I put on the politics thread, I didnt vote in the recent round of local elections. When it comes to the GE I've always encouraged others and said you must vote even if I disagree with you or you don't have a voice. I'll most likely end up voting Conservative again, yet I'm as bad as my grandparents who were always too loyal to Labour as I don't really believe in them in any longer.
He shouted.
In what way is that violent disorder?
You’ve completely missed the point that people are being forced into pleading guilty to things they haven’t done
Not sure a screenshot from an article about an investigation into police misconduct is proving what you want it to.
I don’t care what your political persuasion is, but if you trust politicians, think they give a flyingfuck about you, and believe that the news you're fed is balanced?
I’ve got news for you.
why indeed but as has been pointed out the link is from an article about police corruption and misdeedsI don’t think the issue is with the Englishman being sent to jail. But why was a child groomer spared prison?
You’d have to ask him, he plead guilty. Would you like judges to disagree when someone pleads guilty?
Agreed he deserved to be sent down. Do you not agree that the child groomer, which I don’t think anyone can argue, is just as awful, should have been sent down too?And for the other, this is why you don’t trust screenshots of headlines kids. Literally the first para:

I’m using that article to show how we have a corrupt police force.
What point do you think I’m trying to make?
I actually worked in the police force and I left because we were told when on shift there were certain demographics of people they couldn't arrest. It does happen. No, I’d quite like people not to be arrested and imprisoned for shouting.
A civilised society does not imprison people for speaking loudly
Fair enough, but that’s not the issue here.why indeed but as has been pointed out the link is from an article about police corruption and misdeeds

Absolute fucking bollocks. He was advised to go for a jury trial by his brief due to the outcomes that that are delivered by the court where he would be put on trial. They have a track record when freedom of speech crimes are tried in that court, if the Lucy girl had been given better advice and opted for a jury trial then she wouldn't have gone to jail. Both things they did were abhorrent but the outcomes indicate that justice is not as equal as some would think or at least not the advice from KC's.there's a big difference, one pled guilty and the other decided on going to a trial where a jury found him not guilty
what he said was disgusting but the situations are different
So two-tier really is a thing?I actually worked in the police force and I left because we were told when on shift there were certain demographics of people they couldn't arrest. It does happen.
Does a civilised society involve turning up mob handed and shouting at random brown people because some kids got killed by a brown person? I lose track.
yes and that is why SYP aren't even allowed to investigate the further allegations against them in those cases and the NVA has taken over.Agreed he deserved to be sent down. Do you not agree that the child groomer, which I don’t think anyone can argue, is just as awful, should have been sent down too?
If Ricky Jones was white, and a Reform MP, would he have been treated the same?Does a civilised society involve turning up mob handed and shouting at random brown people because some kids got killed by a brown person? I lose track.
Ah ok. Yes, I agree.yes and that is why SYP aren't even allowed to investigate the further allegations against them in those cases and the NVA has taken over.
His point was look this bloke only waved a flag and that was bollocks.
it's not bollocks is it, she pled guilty and he went to trial and was found not guilty.Absolute fucking bollocks. Yes it is.So two-tier really is a thing?
It’s an entirely separate issue. What were the political alignments of the jury?it's not bollocks is it, she pled guilty and he went to trial and was found not guilty.
that is why she ended up in jail and he didn't
it's as simple as that, she was the wife of a councillor and they have simila
how the fuck would I know the political alignment of a jury? It’s an entirely separate issue. What were the political alignments of the jury?
Was the legal advice given to the others poor?
He shouted at the police. Not “random brown people”
Why does it always come down to colour with you lot?
Sorry, wasn’t for a minute suggesting you knew, more of a rhetorical questionhow the fuck would I know the political alignment of a jury?
you are going down a rabbit hole
If Ricky Jones was white, and a Reform MP, would he have been treated the same?
I dont know isnt it the blurred out bit? What's all the hoorah about? What’s racist about them?
