Also more than a bit dispiriting to have clubs in the same league doing it, bit easier to take when it's a top flight club rather than one of the parachute wankers.

Yeah, I mean it was tongue in cheek, but still, this transfer window is looking to be slightly lazy at best, potentially disruptive at worst.

Still a couple of weeks left of course.

Everyone would know we have a huge war chest and we’ll be left feeling disappointed

you can sell one player too many and it’s imperative we don’t

I kind of feel like he was such a unique player in terms of his mix of attributes, we were never actually going to directly replace him. Also, he has an even bigger gut on him now.

Is there any other team in the league that has a transfer rumour against pretty much every member of their squad

Dovin - Lille
MVE - Wolfsburg
Thomas - Sheff Utd
Bidwell - Derby
Eccles - Stoke
Rudoni - Southampton
Bassette - Utrecht

Shows how well we actually have recruited over the years

I'm pretty sure you know the difference. We'd be able to replace Thomas with as good or better for that kind of money for starters. It's one that could work for us, the Rudoni one does nothing for us.
