Simms really should have scored but he thought the defender had cleared it. I'm still not sure how the defender missed it

Was actually the right call. The Luton player looked to foul Bidwell off the ball. He can't not penalise that, by playing and advantage for the kitching foul, but because Kitching fouled first he can at least give Luton the set piece. Actually good refereeing. Admittedly I didn't see the full Bidwell incident as to whether there was much in it.

Simms does need to improve his finishing but he was OK tonight.

The way we play, getting crosses in, he should be absolute one of the first names on the team sheet .
If you could draw a centre forward, it would look like Simms, he has every attribute, but it’s his confidence that is lacking.
If we can get him in the zone he could be huge for us, but this depends on him to start believing in himself.He should scare the life out of opposition CBs.
He will regret it later in life if this hurdle he can’t get across .
