I’m pretty sure I read everything and it suggested you get a second email straight after the confirmation one with the tickets link. No mention of this being at a later date.
Clearly this isn’t happening so everyone just in the dark as to when they will get them.
I’m sure it’s all in hand and will arrive in plenty of time but I do think ticketing people don’t put themselves in the shoes of fans who want the confidence of having the ticket in hand or a guaranteed date when it will be. It then becomes the worry of “ Have you checked your spam folders “ etc

The ticket office has confirmed that it’s a mistake on the email, there will be no print at home option. It’s digital wallet only.

So I need to get 4 Friday, 2 ST holders, (but not our usual seats), 2 non ST holders, what do I end up with?
And what is digital wallet only, does that just mean on your phone?

Yes, “digital wallet only” means on your phone. No other option (unless you physically buy it at the ticket office, I assume).
I just got off phone to the ticket office. The notification emails and the eticketing site clearly stated there was a print at home option (see below) but they didn't include one, no pdf was attached. So some poor young girl at the t.o. has been lumbered with making weak excuses for a management cock-up and has to explain to loads of people how to use a digital wallet or print the tickets for collection.

It always amazes me that every other event people seem to be able to work out how to use whatever ticketing system is in place but when it comes to football people seem mystified

To be fair it seems to change like the weather for football.
Last season the Caraboa was loaded on to ST or collect from the ground as they'd stopped issuing print at home or digital tickets if I remember correctly

It was clear on the ticket website that the options were paper tickets posted out or digital wallet. It was clearly stated no print at home option was available. I didn't trust the post so I opted for digital wallet even though I have limited experience of using digital wallets. My problem is how I get five tickets onto five phones. Resumable I can email them but can I send them on WhatsApp?

I think it is because not all season ticket holders are using their normal turnstiles, for example those who have had to move stands

What's that got to do with it. You can use any turnstile anyway to access most of the ground.

it said on the press release no print at home?

If the email says that there is a print at home PDF, wouldn’t you expect it to be there? I’m not sure this is the supporters’ fault.
it is if you didn't read the comms sent by the club with ticket details, it said no print at home so not sure why anyone expected there to be.

yes ticketmaster have sent the wrong template email today but it clearly said no print at home

Gig tickets just as bad to be honest .The Halls at Wolves another example - download the halls app, no tickets, download AXS app - no tickets both have shit or non existent customer service and blame each other.
All supposedly done to protect us from touts but of course it’s the customer who suffers and the touts carry on regardless.

Download them to one phone and share them from there is the easiest way.

No it wasn't they changed it on the website or stated print at home was available on the eticketing site I definitely ordered online because I had a print at home option, I did print at home last year for a friendly so I had no reason to think the option would not be available.

They may have changed it but I know what I saw and I stand by my comment #291

When I spoke to the girl at the T.O. about this she said she had spent the morning explaining how to download a digital wallet & use digital tickets, I could do this easily myself but I DON'T WANT TO, I DO NOT WANT TO RELY ON A DEVICE. Why they won't allow the option I don't understand, is their some sort of fraud, do they want to justify the installation new scanners or what?

The club will want to move to all tickets being in a digital wallet like other clubs are already doing, it will stop passing tickets to someone else. I think this or next season will be the last when we have physical season tickets. There will be many supporters who don't want this especially older ones who don't have a smart phone. There is a way round passing tickets to someone else if it is in a wallet, I have a new and an older Samsung phone, the older one has no sim and I only use it at home but when I have booked train or flights the tickets are downloaded onto both phones & they are accessible when the phone is not connected to the Internet.

I am not wrong.
I know what I saw.
If the club or Ticketmaster have changed their mind or got it wrong in he first place that doesn't make me wring
