I can't see the pitch having improved from the Preston game unfortunately so I think we will see a lot more back to front football tonight with the midfield largely bypassed with us trying to play any kind of passing football in the final third. So on that basis I see no place in the starting line up for Moussa unfortunately - for what it's worth my line up tonight will be a 4-4-1-1 (or 4-2-3-1 dependent on your view) with Clarke up front with Elliott just off him, a midfield of Baker and Sheff right and left with Jennings and probably Bailey (if he is 100%), ahead of Thomas, central; Christie at RB (hopefully back to some kinda form) then the usual centre back pairing, Adams and keeper.

It'll be a case of horses for courses tonight. It'll be very cold and not very pretty so I'm anticipating a hard fought, scrappy and rather dull 1-0 win but personally I'd take that. Can't see many of us up there so attendance a shade below 10k.

What about this,

4-2-1-3 (4-3-3)

Murphy

Cyrus-Wood-Edge-Blair
Thomas-Mouss
Baker
Elliott---Clarke---Elliott

This way you have a a lot going forward, but also 3 in midfield centre mid/CAM (rather than 2 CMs in a 4-4-2).

Mouss and Thomas would sit, with Baker playing a attacking role.
Also gives Blair and cyrus/Clarke a chance to bomb on.

Is Stephen Elloiot planning to cut himself in two people then?

Ok don't shoot me down here but if we want to play 2 strikers then why not play the diamond either type I believe it didn't work because of poor management but under robins it could work. Sure we might have to drop one midfielder but it is more attacking
