I was at Kirkland’s debut v Tranmere at H/R, we won but I can’t remember the score that was a cup game though so the Chelsea game could well have been his league debut.

Strangely Paul Heald. Oldham at home 1992. There was a rumour before the game that Oggy had been seen arriving on crutches. I think it was she first game he'd missed in about 6 years or something.

When we got our consolation goal, we started singing 'We can see you sneaking out' to the Chelsea fans, which they were quite amused by.

I was there for that. Was it his debut?!
He got sent off for an alleged foul on Jimmy F-H. He was crying when he came off and tbf got a fair bit of applause from the Chelsea fans as well.
