Despite saying yesterday that I hate blue and white stripes (and I do!) the pull on my nostalgic heart strings for the 89-91 is strong.

Never realised just how bad that 89-91 is. Look at all that white! Like the dark shorts though.

I've gone for Pony, because it's a Prem-era classic and for the memories it conjures, but I agree with the comment above that.thw late 60s' early 70s' effort is probably our classic kit.

It's the classic Coventry City kit template imo if I had to pick one to represent the club for all time
Better with sky blue socks though. The earlier versions didn't have the badge on though (at least according to historicalkits.co.uk)

I do like the 94/95 Pony kit but wore the shirt for 2 weeks solid when on Holiday in Tenerife in 1994. On that basis the smell alone still brings back memories to this day and I'm out.

89-91 for me, even though I can't disagree that there's not enough sky blue it's a beauty (first kit I saw us wear in person as well). I'd happily vote for everything bar the Ribero tribute in this group, it's too much of a mish-mash. Liked it at the time but it's my least favourite of the hummel home kits.

I think 94-96 is probably my all-time favourite, really hope we get a kit the same sort of shade of sky-blue some time soon. So many memories of favourite players in this kit too which probably really influences me.

I love plain sky blue but that shade is a bit 'wishy-washy' to me. I went for the classic older 69-72, but next choice would have been 18-19 which surprises me by having zero votes so far.

It's the first one I had as a young City fan and for me it'll always be my favourite also.

Don't like 94-96 at all and didn't at the time. It's the almost polo-neck collar with fussy flaps on it and the baggy fit of the whole thing.

I like 18-19 but it just hasn't got enough about it to win this.

I hesitated between 89-91 (for the memories, the dark shorts and I DO like stripes) and 20-21 for its daring and very Hummely look. But 89-91 has it in the end.

Yeah i like the Midrepro one, quite like a simple sky blue kit although i do like the fact our kits are quite varied. I wouldnt fancy the Everton scenario where its very similar most years

The simple beauty of 69-72 was a winner with fans and romps to victory in Group D. A battle for the ages between 89-91 and 94-96 ultimately saw the stripey Asics number squeeze into the knock-outs by just 2 votes.
