European teams get a hell of a lot more. Shame they haven't split it more evenly.Auckland receive over $2.5m just for participating so you’d hope they’re sorting their players out…
Attendance for PSG - Atletico last night looked really good (although took a while to fill up). This one looks bizarrely empty. How much are they selling tickets for?
That attendance is shocking, made worse with the way each player is coming out one by one and not getting a cheer
they an't, if you give Auckland anymore that'll destroy the OFC for ever. They'll just be too rich.European teams get a hell of a lot more. Shame they haven't split it more evenly.
Wow, no wonder
Thats the thing. I have it on for a football fixI quite enjoyed the game last night to be fair. It's giving me my football fix in the off-season lull. Didn't watch the 10-0 Bayern game though, that seemed a bit pointless but can't really exclude an entire continent. Would be better folding Oceania into Asia tbh now that Australia has left.
that is a good point, it is monday afternoon in atlantaI don't think they were ever going to fill that stadium at 3pm on a Monday. Shame, as it's an incredible stadium, probably the best I've ever been to!
Was about to post this. Clearly scheduled for European TV. Why not have it in a much smaller stadium and give tickets to schools?I don't think they were ever going to fill that stadium at 3pm on a Monday. Shame, as it's an incredible stadium, probably the best I've ever been to!
Where on god's beautiful blue planet is Ulsan? I thought they made chemical toilet cleaner! There only looks a few 100 in the stadium in Orlando for the mouthwatering clash between Ulsan and Mamelodi Sundowns.
South KoreaWhere on god's beautiful blue planet is Ulsan? I thought they made chemical toilet cleaner!
I heard that was just to clean your toilet tbfWhere on god's beautiful blue planet is Ulsan? I thought they made chemical toilet cleaner!
I reckon I couldn't name the continent for about half the clubs in the competition let alone the country.Where on god's beautiful blue planet is Ulsan? I thought they made chemical toilet cleaner!
We were fortunate to be in Buenos Aires earlier in the year, and that description fits the entire neighbourhood of La Boca! Absolutely bonkers and truly football crazy. EVERYTHING is blue and yellow. Even the Coke adverts, umbrellas, etc are black and white rather than red (the colours of River Plate, their arch rivals). Advice is never wear anything red and white just in case you are mistaken for a River Plate fan! The stadium is plonked right in the residential streets like F*lbert St or K*nilw*rth Rd - just a bit bigger!!! It looks like a giant branch of IKEA from a distance.Best game so far has been Boca v Benfica.
I've got a lot of time for Boca. Seems a mad bunch, do everything at 100mph
I like the mad skinny skinny stand they had to build to fit in the space availableWe were fortunate to be in Buenos Aires earlier in the year, and that description fits the entire neighbourhood of La Boca! I have a lot of affection for CABJ!
Sounds great. I'd love to go, La Bombonera is definitely on my bucket list.We were fortunate to be in Buenos Aires earlier in the year, and that description fits the entire neighbourhood of La Boca! Yeah it's pretty much a vertical rake on the seats!!I like the mad skinny skinny stand they had to build to fit in the space available
