Well, when you are in a region surrounded by sworn enemies you’d kind of want to have the capability for deterrence, wouldn’t you?
Or are you a fan of the one arm tied behind the back scenario?
Ahh yes, the country of peace currently overseeing a casual bit of genocide and bombing another country.

We really are getting into 1984 territory at this point.

Not defending either of them here, as I think there both cunts but..

the UN watchdog said Iran was not complying with its nuclear obligations for the first time in almost 20 years.

This has been brewing for a while,.it was always going to escalate.

Don’t bother engaging with them, they will always find an excuse

Bombing another country that absolutely hates us and all we stand for, and threatens us and the USA with nuclear weapons, are you really that stupid? Absolutely clueless

I happen to think it was something else that prompted the action, but I'll keep it to myself.

Obviously not and I’ve said that multiple times, it has nothing to do with what’s now happening in Iran, it’s low how your trying to use that
It fits with the habits of the war criminal Netanyahu regime. Iran was pre-Trump complying with the nuclear deal, it was also attempting to engage in dialogue now.

Israel deserves to be a pariah state.

Ah yes I’m sure compliance with the UN was top of mind for Israel. Can’t stand seeing people disobey the UN that lot.

They are only in a region surrounded by sworn enemies because they've done absolutely everything they can to make it so. They are a jewish supremacist state and they hate Arabs.

Hmmmmm. Weren’t hostilities directed at them from the moment the state was established?
In fact I’m pretty certain the British, French and Americans were fending off violent attacks from Arabs in the years preceding its state settlement.
I’m not so sure the situation has always been as one sided as you would like to portray 🤷‍♂️

The state was established by stealing land then kicking out the people who lived there first.

Oooh, hang on then - I’m getting vibes of Brits getting angry over foreigners being afforded accommodation when they are not.
Is that not allowed? Just OK in the Middle East at the tail end of the 1940’s?
I don't really see how the two are comparable, Arab reaction to successive waves of Jewish immigration in the 20s and 30s was in part fuelled by Zionist views that the current inhabitants should be moved on the create room for a Jewish state. Nothing remotely like that is happening in modern day Britain.

The roots of the Israel-Palestine conflict do indeed go very deep and there have been atrocities on both sides. Personally i don't see much hope of this being resolved at any point soon, the sides seem far too entrenched and the escalation of violence from Israel never achieves much other than radicalising yet another generation of opponents.

Pretty fucking miserable really.
