Allen New Contract (1 Viewer)

Have I missed a release regarding Allen's new contract as I see he is on the retained list, but have not seen any press release like we had with Bidwell and Wilson etc.
I am happy as he is good for depth.

Well deserved too. Excellent squad player, who it seems is happy being that, and won't throw his toys out the pram when being left out. Copes well with being thrown into the team, doesn't need a run of games to get up to speed

We may have exercised the option so that we can get a transfer fee.

I’d be happy to keep him. He’s a decent player and with his energy he offers something a little different to most of the other midfielders.

That would constitute a great window in my eyes. These guys are all bottom of there respective position imo so upgrading all these areas would be great.

Bidwell replaced with a starter as LB is our weakest position currently despite Da Silva's excellent end to the season.
Collins replaced with a new number 2.
Binks replaced with an experienced head, depth rather than starter now as I'm happy to continue with Thomas and Kitching.
Simms replaced with a LW to compete with EMC.
Allen replaced with a box to box Torp-esque signing.

I'd be happy with a right-sided player who can be back up to both Milan and Tats.

Got a feeling Obikwu could be given a shot (certainly in pre-season). Saw him in pre-season last year at Stevenage and thought he looked good, and despite injury issues did the business for Grimsby.
