Don't want him gone as such but something is really off with him..

I personally think he's playing out for a move. Or has he already got one sorted?

Regardless he's been awful for months and for our 'star man' too. Abysmal.

I've been a big supporter of Wright, particularly early in his time when i thought he was getting harsh treatment by few.

But oh my days. He is the only player i can fault over these 2 games. Just ridiculous inept application. No grit. Not effort. Didn't look up for the fight at all. He was the bitterly dissapointing note in an otherwise fantastic performance in which so many players come away with nothing but enormous credit.

If he puts in many more performances like that he’ll be getting a move to Ebbsfleet United. His wife would hate it there.

I don't think anyone will offer anywhere near what we paid. We will have to hope with a full season next year he gets back to where we need him to be.

Easy to say with hindsight, but Simms would have at least occupied defenders tonight and created space for others.

Genuinely one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a City player - it’s a tight call between Wright and Yakubu - didn’t track back, didn’t turn his man once, won one aerial dual all night. I could forgive him an ‘off night’ but he’s looked lazy and disinterested for weeks. Even the Sunderland hat-trick masked a very average all-round game.

It's on Lampard for keeping him on for 120mins, ridiculous decision
The longer the game went on with penalties looking likely, he was never going to sub him off.

At least Yakubu was injured, he still got an assist though I think?

Awful performance that header last minute of the game was typical of him.He leaves that it sneeks in back post.Proud of the players tonight apart from that twat.I think he knew he was going a few weeks back when he pulled out of that tackle.
