They came with a game plan and they executed it well, stopped us from playing and try to catch on the break.

Wrong starting line up and we spent most of the game playing into their hands. Gifted them a goal. Not over by a long way but not ideal at all. Feel very deflated after that tbh.

Its a big ask to go up there now and get a result, but you never know.

MVE was inconsolable at the end. Could be done mentally or could be the thing that causes a reaction to go and deliver the result of the season.

Either way fair play to Sunderland they got the plan spot on and deserved the result.

What our fans are failing to realise is that every single time frank lampard has the chance to take ellis our of the team he does so , this isnt the first time .

He talked about asante not being fully fit and then he brings him on and has a good 30 against boro and ellis is dropped again .
So are you saying Simms is the reason we lost? He's done nothing in weeks.

I think we shit the bed tbh

Final third was poor all evening, and that was mainly due to the inept performances of Haji Wright and BTA

We didn't win enough second balls for a start also

It was clear 20 minutes in BTA down the middle and Haji wide wasn't working, why not swap them over until half time? Think Lampard was poor with that, alongside changing a winning side

Can't get on Milans back hes saved us way more than hes let us down
Just so many bad decisions on the ball. Possession wasted frequently and in dangerous areas.

Yet ultimately again it’s a howler that blows the game.

I know I’m in the minority here, but Grimes ain’t all that.

He’s great on the ball, he just receives it way too deep and is not adventurous enough.

Receiving the ball deeper than the CB’s against a low block and then slowing it down is mental.

Ha ha ha

I'm fuming that MVE didn't catch a glimpse of Mayenda waiting to pick off the back pass. It was so obvious.

Bta was playing against a team who had 5 up front and desperately needed goals.

It was madness to think that would be the same tonight.
I dont think asante was the problem tonight though , we were poorer in other areas

If MvE doesn't do what he does the general mood on here would be 'meh'. Still well in it, can't see us not scoring tbh but gifting them more might be an issue.

He's scared to make a decent pass, see the likes of Hamer, arronson, brownhill ect they get the ball and play a ball straight through midfield, meanwhile we go sideways and backwards, it's like we have a goal to hit X amount of touches before shooting.
